yeah i really enjoyed operating that crane. it was a pleasure. me and that crane was a good team. we put in some long hours. the "beast" has a new engine cause the last one was on it's last leg but we made it through many jobs of it smokin like a chimney. lol but it never quit. but dielco did an overhaul on it and it's all new in the engine compartment. but the bad part is i never got to operate it with the new upgrade. a bummer
"THE BEAST" IS THIS CRANES NAME I WAS THE OPERATOR OF IT AND I AM GLAD TO SEE A VIDEO OF IT. I CANT BELIEVE IT. THIS MADE MY DAY. WE ARE FROM LAS VEGAS, NEVADA AND WE USED TO WORK FOR DIELCO CRANE. WE DID ALOT OF SHAKE OUT TOGETHER. TONS OF IRON WORK. DAMN YOU STILL LOOK GOOD "BEAST" KEEP GOING STRONG BABY. YO OPERATOR, MARTY "T". LAS VEGAS.
THAT WAS MY CRANE FOR YEARS. MARTY "T" I KEPT THAT CRANE SPOTLESS AT ALL TIMES AS YOU CAN SEE, IT'S ALL MY DOING.. DAMN IT STILL LOOKS GOOD. I HOPE YOU IN A GOOD PLACE "BEAST" YOU WILL BE MISSED. I AM SHOCKED TO SEE YOU ON YOUTUBE. YOU ALWAYS BEEN A STAR. KEEP SHININ "BEAST" I SEE YA, FROM YOUUR BEST OPERATOR YOU EVER HAD, MARTY "T" YO PARTNER.
Excellent video! Be careful with those brake pedals in the upper cab, if you kick a brake pedal off the hook ball is coming down. Not good for anyone underneath.
i like how they have to put "over sized" on the front..lol..like someone coming down the road with that fucking things ocming at them wouldnt realize shit holy fuck that thing is oversized..lol
Is that American, as in American Rig and Derrick? Seen one of they're Crawler cranes abandoned in the Port in Co Sligo, Ireland a few months back. Damn thing must have been 50 years old, and its still in good condition.

Those old American conventional cranes are very smooth. I would take those over a new triple2 any day.
