@frez777 Yeah, the guitar player on this album is my dad. I think he's one of the greatest I've ever heard (and he's way better than this, believe me. Taught me almost everything he knows.). He still sounds the same. :)

Sail was written by Rick. He was playing around with the basic intro then introduced some lyrics, and then the jazzy ending and the rest just fell into place. Jim and I filled in the missing pieces in Kalamazoo, MI at Jim Watkins house. As with all of the music on the White Album, which is what the first White Summer album was originally, I enjoyed writing the Bass parts

My Husband joined White Summer in 1976 after they had a change the new name was RUBY they went back to the name White Summer later on. He does a rendition of Jimi Hendrix Star Spangled Banner that raises the roof every time he does it. They still play in Michigan at "White Summer Reunions" ; played at Sweet Cherry in early 2008. Keep an eye out they are better than ever!!
