an see i dont hold my pick either of those ways. for some reason i learnt to hold it between my thumb an big middle finger. but it gives me cramp playin bass especially when i was on stage playin fast like, so i used to use black tape to tape my hand kinda like 'the claw' from liar liar otherwise i couldnt hold the pick haha.
