I truly love this song, the music is exceptional! although it has little highlights from 'Purple Rain,' which enhances the song, I don't have a Purple Rain flashback! I only think 'Let it Rain!' I am very happy that there's a video which makes listening to the song much more exciting! Bishop Paul Morton and his choir does a great job in delivering this song!
this is a very touching song the song means something to me like when god was out in the boat with his people and the storm came and the wind blowed and the boat was getting away but god spoke the words the winds and the rain shall obey my will and the storm where gone ...thats what it means to me deep thinking .
man i really love worship like this...i wish churches wud get back into this...and i really love the musicians to there on one accord i wish i can get the musician at my church to understand what one accord is like this...instead of all over the place...praise God for this i love bishop paul morton..i show need some rain seriously!!!!
*Omq they sanq this @ my fathers funeral && i cry everytime i hear it && which i know he is in a better place but he could've been here a little lonqer because he wuda tauqht me alot of life lesson I <3 yhu daddy R.I.P. Gus Carter..*
praise God this song touches many hearts and souls. When he made this song it was a true testimony for alot of people especially me i truly need the flood gates to open up in life.
this was my dad's favorite song, the choir did a great job of singing it at his funeral, sometimes we go through so much in life that we have to take a breath and ask God to do exactly what these people are singing about in the song: "open the flood gates of Heaven and let it rain on the Brown family"
This was one of my moms favorites. Now that shes left us, i'll think of her every time I hear it thanks for putting it on here. R.I.P Mom. love you very much
@acoutryboy my mom just passed this passed monday and the last thing she did was sing the last song in the choir anneversity and this song reminds me of her so much im so sad now but i know shes in a better place and she earned her reward of eternal life in the kingdom of heaven
