This goof-off conspiracy nut was clearly inciting public disorder in front off a US senator who despite being a liberal should still be respected. It must have been his lucky day as it was only a taser gun.
@AmerikanPatriot Freedom of speech demands that you have the right to express yourself- whether or not it is deemed respectful by the police and regardless of what you think! You can't have the police deciding what views they feel are respectful and allowed to be expressed! This is an absolute violation of the rights of this man to express himself and hold his politicians to account and a gross slur upon democracy. You should be ashamed, you are no patriot.
fucking pig scum, can you believe the Tories in the UK are looking to America for examples of how to police. sickening stuff. and the people who posted about the reaction of the other students are completely right. i would have tried to at least take one of those fascist pig vermin down with me.

@jcoffee28 change is coming my friend. Eventually we will live without fear of oppression. It doesn't matter how long it takes, it may not happen in my lifetime, but I do know that it will come one day.
When you are arrested, you go to court and the judge will throw out improper arrests. When you act like an asshole, keep ignoring a police office, and then resist arrest shit happens.
The people cheered because the guy was a fucking idiot. He was claiming that Kerry threw the election to give it to Bush. Most people in that room were very upset that Kerry had lost and then this guy acts like a dickhead.
There hasn't been a video yet where I've seen officers hesitate or doubt their actions. They simply don't care, even when they are being filmed by 40 people with iPhones. They are beyond shaming.
Fighting back seems the only option, taking a passive or intellectual stance means nothing. If those 40 people put their cameras away and fought back, only then would things change.
To think the US talks so much shit an Iran and Korea when they themselves can't hold themselves to a higher standard.

This guy was a jerk. Freedom of speech only goes so far. When you're an irritating prick who thinks you can run your mouth all you want, just because it's a right, someone has to step in line and do something about it. Sad but true. He didn't break any rules, but he abused a privilege. All he had to do was ask a question. Instead he was a smart-mouth punk. If he had problems with Kerry, he should have gone about his issues with Kerry differently.
@UnderKhan So you can have an armoury of guns, use them to kill people who step foot on your land, but you can't use your voice to stand up for something you believe in? Fucking logic little boy, use it
Ya know it's funny cause after reading some comments from over seas and only being 14, you stereotype us like we're ALL a bunch of idiots. Some us are but no one is perfect. This country is full of smart people. And just because our government is full of bad people doesn't mean the whole country is. By the way capitalism beats socialism anyday. So you can sit and call us stupid and let your economies to collapse. I'm not saying you guys are bad or anything, and don't take this to offense cause
I still don't understand why he got arrested, if Americans believe in freedom of speech then why is her getting arrested for speaking his mind. American police are so fucked up, they use unneeded force. If someone did that here in the UK (a county which is not know for freedom of speech) they would just get a slap on wrist, but in America you get 1,200 volts and 0.03 amps through your body.
@LeonKitchen he was talking about a secret society named illuminati and he is a person who doesnt like them. the world is a lie and they have lots of plans coming. illuminati is a secret society where people believe in the devil as their god and known as new world order is a society tring to take over the world

@Givemeabreakman1 it isn't a violation of free speech when he violates the forum. They certainly may have overreacted in tasing him but in standing in line in a forum you follow certain rules. He also brought a camera, obviously expecting reaction. you can't just GRANDSTAND an open forum when others want to talk as well... they had every right to clap, he was annoying and disturbing, not asking questions but preaching. He should have been arrested not tasered

@one1thug Ok, I'm 11, I weigh 73 pounds(most people I know are 80's which is average) I actually don't even eat burgers that much and...well I do enjoy sleep...you know all these stupid American stereotypes are so stupid and aren't even true...
@BobbyVision2020 He broke the rules by asking more questions, thus stopping everyone else from being able to speak. He refused to leave when asked. He caused a public disturbance. He resisted arrest. When they told him that he had to stop or he would get tazed, he continued to resist arrest.
Can someone explain how this is police brutality? Arresting someone is not police brutality. Yelling hysterically does not make it police brutality. They tried to take him calmly away AFTER asking him many times to stop. Freedom of speech does not mean the freedom to stand up during someone elses time, at their meeting, and talk over everyone. It never has. It was never meant to. If that's what you want, then you aren't really for democracy. You're for chaos.
@TheWorteldrie Man, I'm seriously trying not to be rude, but that's not what happened. It's so clearly not what happened. The format was that everyone was supposed to take turns so that everyone could be heard instead of just him. He ignored that, thus attempting to prevent everyone else's attempt to speak, refused to stop when they asked him to, refused to leave, and then RESISTED ARREST. They even warned him.
@TheWorteldrie They didnt tase him for asking a question they tased him for yelling and pushing and resisting arrest which is a crime. The thing is when some stupid kid is sitting up there yelling and he is told he will be tased if he doesnt relax he had better shut up. Its his own fault for not listening to them. Kid needs to learn some respect for authority.
why do his peers not stand up for him?? this just goes to show that most people will not stand up for themselves as a group. did no one realize that that was police brutality and against the law?
@TheWorteldrie There was nothing in this video that constitutes police brutality, nor was there anything (on the part of the officers) that was against the law. It is the job of the police to prevent such people from causing unnecessary public disturbances. What job do you think police are supposed to do?
How do you figure saying "Get back now!" Is laughing you fucking retard? You have got to be the dumbest person in the entire fucking world. You're the kind of person that talks shit about cops and other civil services but the first to cry like a whiny little bitch the SECOND something goes wrong. I hope your children are born retarded. I also hope that you and your wife become paraplegics and have to spend the rest of your miserable lifes in a wheelchair pooping yourself. Die!
Ok I get it he was on a college campus and he broke the rules so he got removed, but Freedom of speech is a right its the 1st admendment in the bill of rights and as such its sad that some1 would get tazed for speaking they're mind even on a college campus
@mike8238 HE DIDN'T GET TAZED FOR SPEAKING HIS MIND. Geez, seriously? He got tazed for a) going against the rules of the college campus and b) causing a public disturbance then c) refusing to leave when he was asked to, after which he d) resisted arrest. That isn't the same as tazing someone because you don't like their opinion! I mean...seriously...what are police supposed to do? Ask nicely?
If cops fail to arrest someone, they call more cops. If that fails, they bring in even more cops. If that doesn't work. They'll use the watergun. If that doesn't work. They will shoot rubber bullets. If that doesn't work.... they will shoot you in the legs.
1st off u can't trespass on public property 2nd It looks like they were violating his freedom of speech and 3rd they tazed him after he was on the ground and handcuffed looks like they should go back to the police academy!
@mike8238 Yes, you can trespass on public property if you are attending an event & are ejected from said event for repeatedly violating the rules. Further, as a student at UF, you must follow a Code of Conduct & certainly can be kicked out of class or an event for breaking those rules.
Freedom of Speech? He spoke for 3 times the time limit when it wasn't even his turn. How was he not allowed to speak? & it was a privilege, not a right.
He was tased because he wouldn't let them cuff him
That guy may have been annoying, but he did nothing to deserve being arrested or tazed. I can see them asking him to leave the building, but not to be arrested.
@Gogoroth2 So what if they told him to leave and he refused. Don't you think he'd eventually be arrested for that? Because that's what happened. He was given multiple opportunities to walk out and wouldn't. Don't you think there should be legal penalty for someone who's trespassing, causing a scene and refusing to leave?
clearly wasnt private property, and usually after these sorts of seminars finish students are allowed to question the speaker, Andrew Meyer was blatantly unjustly arrested while having his constitutional right to freedom of speech violated.
@is2rice He WAS allowed to question the speaker. How did you miss that part? He spoke for over a minute after being told him time was up & It wasn't even his turn. They announced last question & he refused to leave without having his turn. He was cussing event workers & yelling that Kerry was full of shit before this & others were in line in front of him. They STILL let him speak before removing him, but he wouldn't stop. Then they tried to make him leave again & he fought again.
@cbob22 thumbs the fuck down! he shouldn't have been arrested for simply asking a question, yes he over reacted, but shit they had no right to fucking touch him in the first place.
errr.... well, as i see it, he was ejected for not following the functions rules. and then resisted ejection, and was tased to protect both the officers, and himself. secondly, freedom of speech is uncensored with the exception of obscenity, defamation, incitement to riot, and fighting words, as well as harassment, privileged communications, trade secrets, classified material, copyright, patents, military conduct ect. i always laugh when i see freedom of speech comments... learn your rights.....
And that's what happens when you resist arrest. The idiot knew that he was causing a scene and would have just been escorted from the premises if he had just complied.
For asking a question...this is how stupid America is...I live here but why would you tase someone for asking a question...they were arresting him for no reason
@JoshGIsHere He was not in any trouble for asking a question. Look up the witness reports and the whole story. He was already in trouble before this starts and they gave him the privelage of asking a question out of turn before leaving but he refused to let Kerry respond, then got the mic cut for cussing then refused to leave. Kerry answered in detail once Meyer was removed.
Can I just punch everyone in that room please. This guy is being handled so roughly by police or whatever and no one helped him, then he got tased, and a few people were like kwut, and all because he voiced his opinion? There's no reason to even arrest someone for doing that, let alone tase him! Fjrkwdhfjdhdhb rageragerage

@TheWorteldrie There was nothing in this video that constitutes police brutality, nor was there anything (on the part of the officers) that was against the law. It is the job of the police to prevent such people from causing unnecessary public disturbances. What job do you think police are supposed to do?
sparkyk24 1 month ago
@TheWorteldrie he resisted arrest, despite your opinions that is a crime there. you lose

Die!

Ok I get it he was on a college campus and he broke the rules so he got removed, but Freedom of speech is a right its the 1st admendment in the bill of rights and as such its sad that some1 would get tazed for speaking they're mind even on a college campus
mike8238 1 month ago

@mike8238 HE DIDN'T GET TAZED FOR SPEAKING HIS MIND. Geez, seriously? He got tazed for a) going against the rules of the college campus and b) causing a public disturbance then c) refusing to leave when he was asked to, after which he d) resisted arrest. That isn't the same as tazing someone because you don't like their opinion! I mean...seriously...what are police supposed to do? Ask nicely?

I know how cops work guys...
If cops fail to arrest someone, they call more cops. If that fails, they bring in even more cops. If that doesn't work. They'll use the watergun. If that doesn't work. They will shoot rubber bullets. If that doesn't work.... they will shoot you in the legs.
MethshockFilms 1 month ago
1st off u can't trespass on public property 2nd It looks like they were violating his freedom of speech and 3rd they tazed him after he was on the ground and handcuffed looks like they should go back to the police academy!
mike8238 1 month ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@mike8238 Yes, you can trespass on public property if you are attending an event & are ejected from said event for repeatedly violating the rules.

@Gogoroth2 So what if they told him to leave and he refused. Don't you think he'd eventually be arrested for that? Because that's what happened. He was given multiple opportunities to walk out and wouldn't. Don't you think there should be legal penalty for someone who's trespassing, causing a scene and refusing to leave?
mamacornettesmoney 1 month ago
@mamacornettesmoney
clearly wasnt private property, and usually after these sorts of seminars finish students are allowed to question the speaker, Andrew Meyer was blatantly unjustly arrested while having his constitutional right to freedom of speech violated.

Then they tried to make him leave again & he fought again.

errr.... well, as i see it, he was ejected for not following the functions rules. and then resisted ejection, and was tased to protect both the officers, and himself. secondly, freedom of speech is uncensored with the exception of obscenity, defamation, incitement to riot, and fighting words, as well as harassment, privileged communications, trade secrets, classified material, copyright, patents, military conduct ect. i always laugh when i see freedom of speech comments... learn your rights.....
