"Come to Me" is a great vampire themed song. It is criminal that it has never been released on CD and is not better know. It should be on the same level as "Cry Little Sister".

Indeed and since you like both FN and LB, ever seen Near Dark? one of the best vampire movies of the 80's and of all time. If you enjoyed this movie check out Let The Right One In, Let Me In, Thirst (2009 Korean vampire horror comedy) and Daybreakers.

Do you think Let The Right One In and Let Me In are the same as Fright Night only without the comedy? same premise about a vampire neighbor and all. I hear the upcoming remake is done by the writer and producer of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Marti Noxon who is a good writer-producer and says she grew up with the original and is gonna respect it in a fresh new way. I also hear that special edition DVDs/Blu-Rays of FN 1 & 2 will come in time.

@Johnlindsey289 : I think that Let the Right One In/ Let Me In are quite different from Fright Night. They are much more grim and somber than Fright Night. Also the child vampire neighbor vs an adult vampire neighbor gives a very different feel. I am looking forward to the new Fright Night and I hope that they release special editions of the FN 1&2 as you indicated.

Ever seen The Keep (1983)? Excellent underrated cult horror fantasy supernatural shocker about a vampiric golem in WWII who sucks energy instead of blood and makes a deal with Ian Mckellen to fight against Nazis. A neat take on vampire lore.

Well i hear that Tom Holland is gonna produce the remake as it will star Chris Surandon playing Peter Vincient and that Stephen Geoffreys is interested in a cameo. Could be good as long as it's faithful to the original movie! not all horror movie remakes are bad, what about The Thing or The Fly? seen those? but i think this is a cash-in on the latest vampire thing with True Blood, Twilight, Vampire Diaries, Buffy, Angel, Let The Right One In and more.
