i personally like the clockwork theory: that if there is a god, or holy being(s) of some sort, they simply made us like clocks to run on our own with free will and whatnot. when we die, we die, nothing more. no heaven, no hell, maybe reincarnation.
but alas! i like evolution! people don't usually kill each other to prove their evolution is right... they kill for more realistic reasons.

Im atheist, and i adore this song. to me it reminds me of war. That the good and the bad should come together in forgiveness and stop all this obscene fighting. And it would be a beautiful sight for all to see, two different worlds and views colliding and creating something that we thought we would never see. If they can just take the first step, step across the line and forgive, then they can do anything. they all agree on the same things a place where we only need one leader.
The verse where it says "if you gotta start somewhere why not here" so on and so on. I think that also means that it is someone trying to stand up and stop all the fighting. Why not stop now? here and now. Although there is a lot of disagreement its like a thick layer of fog. but through this there is hope. When we all just stop and think about it and forgive it will be like a wave has just swallowed us in love and the fighting will cease. I hope i made sense and i hope you respect my point ^^<3

And you cant make me believe yours as i have my own beliefs, they happen to be different to yours. But thats me. You wont make me believe something i dont think is real. @PhilCollins4eva You are a very interesting character. Sound very confused, but nonetheless interesting. Actually by definition, to say you have no religion is in and of itself exactly that... a religion! I am just curious though, what would it take for you to believe in any religion? Like if you could choose one thing that would make you believe in something what would it be? Just a simple, honest to God (no pun intended) question.

@mamic47 sorry for not replying sooner, it appears my computer does not alert me to comments anymore XD To answer your question. the one thing that would probably make me believe in god, would be the actual proof of god. If they could show me proof. I trust what my eyes can see. If they could prove his existance. solid, hard evidence. then yes. I would probably convert. but well, who wouldn't if given solid proof?

@PhilCollins4eva I'm just asking you to notice what's already there. Where you say "forgive, and it will be like a wave has swallowed us in love", that is too true. God is that wave to me, and there is no better feeling than love surrounding you. I'm very sorry if I said something that didn't need to be said, but I believe it did. You are what you believe, and what your comment shows that you believe, can't happen in a world without God. <3
