I've realized, because of what people have been saying lately on Lady Gaga forums and other forums, that no matter what direction she moves in there will be people dissapointed. Some of them likes the current Gaga, some of them want her to be more ''fun'' and ''simple'', some of them want Stefani Germanotta back. Just because a song is typical doesn't mean it's bad. If you think about the songs she sings in this clip, THEY actually sound very typical, especially Captivated, a typical piano ballad. But look at you, you like them anyway, so isn't it safe to assume that people can like typical electropop songs in the same way?

Everybody knows Lady Gaga is intentionally a sellout. She has talent and she knows it - she also knows what sells, and she plays the corporate media as well as she plays the piano. Her image is all manipulation. She's smarter than people give her credit for.. and obviously, just as talented. This woman hasn't been destroyed by pop culture, she's taken hold of it.
