  • you shouldn't always put your best guy on 1 part.. for songs like this, it is better to put him at 2nd or 3rd.

  • SHEEEEEET MUSIC PLEASEEEE!!

  • I played this song with one quartet and in the very first tone in the phrase at the begining we played staccato ( so instead of - ..- we played . ..- ). I thing it has more drive... anyway, very good job with multitracks:)

  • how can i get a hold of this music????

  • I like this, it sounds very nice

  • the guy who disliked this was jizzing himself when he accidentally hit the "dislike" button

  • Look on his fingers o.O

  • AWESOME!!! Is that a jupiter? I think i have the same one!

  • nicely done. very good

  • I think that this is the best of your multi-tracks :D

  • your first couple of notes need to be smoother and less forced

  • cool

  • @trumpetboi18 quartet repertoire for cornet or trumpet comes with 15 different songs. One of witch is fanfare and scherzo witch is accualy the first one in the book.

  • do you know where i can find the music for this song?

  • Great !!!

  • Your like my new idol. I'm 2nd chair (as far as I know) in the 6th grade band. But I'm 1st in my class. Check out my video. I am planning on posting some more!

  • i have a king 7c mouth piece works great i have a lot i need to work on with the trumpet any tips on howw to hit highnotes really well please tell me

  • it's really hard to learn how to play high notes and you won't be able to get it right away...

so let's say your highest note right now is a C above the staff then you should play an A above the staff but below that C for 10mins long each day for about 2 or 3 weeks

  • Range is a tricky thing and what works for some doesn't necessarily work for others. I would suggest plenty of long tones in any octave.

  • @andrewtrumpeter

    Try Blowing These Note's In SemiBreve's/Whole Note's.

Bottom C, Midle C, Then Smash Her In Triple C.

Once You Get The Hang Of It. Work On Tonal Value's.

PS:It's Easier To Be Critical, Then To Be Perfect(:

  • first thing i'd suggest for high notes is to get off of that 7c as soon as you can and move to something more dense, and with a bigger cup like a Bach 3c or 1c...it'll be harder at first, but your tone and your range will thank you later. : )

  • find a shallow mouthpiece

  • Hey I've been playing for 14 years and I think this is beautiful. The Stradivarius with a 3c mouthpiece is the best in my opinion. Do you record the 1st part and then listen to it as you play the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th parts to keep synchronized? Someone mentioned Bugler's Holiday earlier and I also think the cornet and trumpet parts would be great to multitrack. Love your videos!

  • Thanks for your kind comment! I first generate a click track and record from bottom to top.

I defiantly want to do Bugler's Holiday I just have a backlog of songs that I want to do!

  • hey greg its Blake. just checkin out what everyone was talkin about. very impressive! your dad made me laugh. see ya later.

  • Thanks man! See you tomorrow...

  • I'm curious, what style/size of mouthpiece do you usually use?

  • Bach 3c

  • Curious, do you take requests?

  • Sure! I'll try my best...

  • I've been dying to hear Bugler's Holiday multitracked, if you happen to know it :)

  • Ahh, that's a great idea! I'll get on it.

  • love it
