@OrogDeMalfur Good for you studying the breed. They aren't for amateurs due to the diligent grooming requirements but, if you are up for that and dedicated to it, you will never have a better more loving family dog. They love everyone! VERY sweet natured.

During that one and a half to two years they have selective hearing but, they have been used as rescue dogs, therapy dogs and performance dogs as well as working on firefighter teams. They are very smart but, you just have to realize they WILL go through an adolescence. I think Singapore is too hot a climate for this dog breed AND the grooming is massive.

depends where you are :) I have 3. If you rescue it's pretty cheap and you save a life! But a puppy can be around 1200-1600 depending where you are. Do your research though their high maintenance dog for coat cleaning.
This is the absolute best breed of dog for babies and small children, BAR NONE! They handle and do better with children then even golden retrievers and labs in my opinion. You won't get a kinder, gentler, loving, and absolutely adorable breed of dog anywhere else. OES are the best!!! I would recommend them to anyone, anytime. There's a reason why these dogs get the acclaimed famous name of "Furry Nanny."

I rescue an OES His name was rufus. I remember taking on a LONGGGGGGG Walk... As i try to cross the street on the last leg home. He would not get up. Had to call my wife to pick us up.... poor doggie.Best Breed in town!!!!!!!!!1
