WTF? You cannot carry a satellite phone in India? I also didn't know that, and I believe most people, if they had a sat phone, would use it, especially if abroad.
India and Israel are so close and so many Israelis visit India. India should be ashamed of their behavior. I hope they realize it soon and let him go home.

What is the law...do you even know it? As far as I know, anyone that has a cellphone will use it abroad, same with a laptop computers...that is why they are called mobile phones...they are MOBILE!
