  • Wonderful. Absolutely Magnificent. Much better than having doctors poke and prod the both of you. Just you, your husband, and your baby - that way it was intended to be all along !

  • Aw :)

  • Birthing unassistedly is the best choice , for mummy baby and the whole family , -this is beautiful , good job mama!

  • Great Job Mama Goddess!!! Reminded me of my birth...just perfect!

  • great job

  • Beautiful...... I have had water birth bfre rlly helps

  • That was beautiful. I could never do it, though. I can't even handle period pain let alone contractions, and I've had too many family members/friends who have had natural childbirth go very wrong and become life-threatening =(. I'm glad you beat the odds, though! Your baby is such a cutie :3.

  • I'd love to have a birth like this, I always feel at peace in water, and I believe I've always wanted to do a birth like this, I've been told by some that I can't cause they don't think I have a high pain tolerance, but I am stubborn, if I hear someone tell me I can't do something, it motivates me even more to do it :D

  • This is beautiful, thank you for sharing such a wonderful experience. :)

  • Great job

  • you're really brave.wonderful.

  • I love it! All 4 of mine were like this...we did lotus as well. The more videos like ours, the more women are inspired to do the same. Blessings to you, Sister Birthing Goddess!

  • this was beautiful! wow, you did a great job and i'm here crying like a baby! Such a beautiful experience thanks so much for sharing.

  • ok the water god

  • Beautiful:)

  • this is cool it let's me know what I'll be getting the mother of my kids into...well maybe...working at walmart has made me sterile for now :/

  • i have 11 more days until my baby comes girl if you can do it i can am doing all Natural NO MEDS BUT YOU DID VERY WELL OMG VERY WELL.....

  • @marrionlbc -- That is the right attitude!! "If you can do it, I can do it" -- that was my mindset. No reason a healthy mother and baby can't have a totally natural birth they way they want. Women need to take back their bodies and their births!!

  • You did very well.

  • While your baby was crowning, I noticed a gush of brown liquid. Was that meconium? Did your baby have respiratory issues? Thanks

  • well said mama. birth is not a sickness to be cured. amazing how far removed we have become from the simple normal process of birth.convinced it is a dangerous crisis. how angry people get like this dude below...at women taking their bodies and natural birth back.

  • @forthewildthings- I know, right?!! People who believe western medicine is the only way are so mislead and misinformed! To take something so natural and normal like birth and turn it into some medical event- it is just a shame. So many women are missing out on what giving birth truly means. And so many babies are harmed in the process....

  • Did u cut the cord

  • @starfire3604 - Since that takes away from the baby receiving what they are entitled to in their placenta, no we did not cut it. We did not interfere with nature at all. We practiced a Lotus Birth.

  • @xposethelies if you don't mind me asking, how does that work? does it just come off on its own?

  • @nash613 - Google 'Lotus Birth' if you'd like to know more.... Yes, the umbilical cord falls off on it's own in 3-7 days time usually.

  • @xposethelies thats so interesting thank you!

  • @xposethelies I am planning a Lotus birth too!

  • This is amazing!

  • You did awesome!! And you can tell that it was such an easy transition for the baby to come into this earth that way.

  • thank you so much for posting this. im 13 weeks right now and been considering this, just scared of the pain. but you made it look so easy. but thank you again for this,

  • yes ur baby should have been suctioned upon delivery to clear the fluids from the nose and lungs...that was RISKY!

  • @Real2012Talks -- You obviously are uneducated. That is your opinion. Sorry, not fact.

  • @Real2012Talks - you go right ahead and keep practicing those OUT OF DATE procedures that cause harm, NOT HELP to an infant. Do you think suctions existed hundreds or even thousands of years ago? Our bodies work perfectly, the way NATURE INTENDED. Do your research.

  • @xposethelies

Wait babies DON'T need suction? One thing I applaud is the common sense you have. You would think that more women would give birth squatting or kneeling in water. The little research I've done shows the worst thing a woman can do is lay on her back, be poked and prodded and let others tell her what to do.

    Good job. :-)

  • @Real2012Talks Not risky if the baby is breathing... it was perfectly safe :) and beautiful

  • @Real2012Talks- It is even more risky to suction the baby's nose and throat! In the last 5 years, studies have shown that babies who clear their airways on their own have better breathing/lung function in the long run. God made us just the way we needed to be, even before they invented those little suction thingies. ;)

  • was that brown stuff meconium um also im so proud of you do you cut the cord and do you go to the hospital after ward how does this work do you go and get him weighed and get the birth cirtificate written up i just dont understand how this works but i would LOVE to do this

  • thankyou for sharing <3

    Thank you also Frederick Leboyer

  • how well did u do! wow, congrats, great vid, thanks you for sharing xx <3

  • That was incredible. Wow!! Beautiful baby

  • I am expecting my first child and I can't explain how afraid of childbirth I am! Even with all the med options and everything! I would love to do it natural like this but I am just to afraid!

  • "We don't need the suction." really?!?!?!

  • @playingforhim511 - this has been discussed previously. Scan old comments if you're interested. And if you don't have knowledge on suctioning, then look into it.

  • Beautiful Video!

i had a sort of "unassisted birth" as well. my midwife left to another birth but left me with my doula. i was totally fine. i wanted a birth with just hubby and my favourite doula. I also wanted my baby to be touch for the FIRST TIME by someone familiar, in this case, my husband. i don't regret it on bit.

  • Knowledge is power. This video is so inspiring to me. You are a very powerful women and most women dont have the balls to do what nature has intended to happen. Props to you and anyone that disagrees is just jealous because they are either too scared, or had a bad hospital experience.

  • @donellexrachelle -- Damn right!!!! It's about time women took their power to birth back!! Haters are gonna hate, and that's too bad for them.

  • you were amazing! congrats! calmer birth= quicker birth!

  • @ana183247 -- thank you much!!! yes, calm birth=great birth. Perfect baby. What a wonderful way to bring a baby into this world!! : )

  • @Antipsychiatry123 You piece of shit, get the fuck off this video

  • @claire0rockz

No offense, but I was making a (very) reasonable argument, with a nice peppering of crude humor. The peppering of crudeness doesn't change the fact that natural childbirth is absolutely moronic and is not supported by any evidence - let alone the shitty arguments she gives. It is endangering her life and more importantly the baby's.

Saying, "You piece of shit" is not even remotely relevant. I presented a very good argument and all you can come back with is ad hominems.

  • @Antipsychiatry123 -- Troll. Ugly, sad troll. Get a life and do not comment on something you obviously know NOTHING about. I will leave your ridiculous comments up, just to show so many strong women and proud fathers how damn ignorant people just like you are.

Let's go ahead and address your idiotic statement above, shall we:

"natural childbirth is absolutely moronic and is not supported by any evidence" -

How else are babies born, smart guy? Do they magically get dropped

  • @ANTIPSYCHIATRY123- off at your home by a stork? Do they just appear from thin air?? Absolutely the STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard. You take the cake, buddy!!! Last time i checked, ALL BABIES on this planet are born by a vagina. ... This is natural. Does someone need to consult a doctor to have a bowel movement? To have sex? I didn't think so. I don't need to pay someone to do WHAT MY BODY DOES ALL BY ITSELF. Pathetic human being.

  • @xposethelies

You don't even address any of the arguments. Do you understand basic concepts such as probability and risk? I can bet 100 dollars on getting a 1 on a dice or I can bet 100 dollars on getting a heads on a coin. It's certainly possible to win 100 dollars with the die, but it doesn't change the fact that flipping the coin is the smarter choice.

  • @Antipsychiatry123 - I will trust my body and nature over a machine and a greedy hospital anyday. Take your possibility/risk scenario and let that run your life. YOU are the reason hospitals and doctors exist. Have you ever looked into our countries infant mortality rates? Our C Section rates? you obviously know nothing about birth. Why are you watching natural birth videos again, smart guy? You look like a fool.

  • @xposethelies

"and let that run your life"

I will. I will trust probability and basic reasoning skills to help guide my decisions. Thanks for the compliment.

""You are reason hospitals and doctors exist."

Really? I'm flattered. But I couldn't possibly accept such a compliment.

"Have you ever looked into our countries infant mortality rates?"

Yep. It's 0.01% because of modern medicine. Natural childbirth increases the risk 150 times (to 1.5%).

  • @Antipsychiatry123 -- Our mortality rates are ranked 41st in THE WORLD. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC and doesn't say much for your asinine comments. Nothing you say pertains to birth the way it was intended. Birth and pregnancy are NATURAL. If a woman carries a baby that is not healthy, or has complications during labor, than that is unfortunate. That is life. Maybe mothers that have complications shouldn't eat fast food and treat their bodies like shit and we wouldn't have problems?

  • @xposethelies

Therefore, when I say, "It's not supported by evidence" this is because the probability of the child dying or the mother dying is very dramatically reduced when introducing modern western medicine.

I don't need to consult a doctor when taking a shit because consulting a doctor does not reduce the risk of dying in any significant manner. So how do you think this is a valid comparison.

  • @claire0rockz

So please take your stupidity elsewhere.

  • @Antipsychiatry123 --- you are hilarious. So ignorant.

  • @claire0rockz

No reply? That's what I fucking thought. This is a good moral lesson for you. Your too fucking stupid to understand what's going on and you can't compose two coherent thoughts so you should just shut the fuck up when adults are talking.

    Thanks in advance you dumbfuck.

  • @claire0rockz - Piece of shit is correct.

  • @Antipsychiatry123 how do you think we did it before modern western medicine? watch the business of being born. It is not a load of bullshit. You should research more before trying to disempower women.

  • @karaleighmum - Well said!! Unfortunately, ignorance is all around us....

  • @Antipsychiatry123 You are so unbelievably UNEDUCATED, IT IS FUNNY!!!! you are the reason hospital birth was invented, jackass. Go do some research and stop drinking the fucking kool aid.

  • did you poop or is your afterbirth brown?

  • @pasteymofo69

I beleave thats the baby passing its first bowel movement before its born, and it came out in the amniotic fluid. might be wrong but it does happen and thats what it looked like to me. Usuelly darker and thicker I think, but thats my idea of what it could be.

  • @pasteymofo69 - it is meconium. I have discussed this in previous comments if you are interested...

  • Congrats and all, but I still don't understand why the birth had to be unassisted? I would consider having my baby naturally, at home, in water and everything but I would never dream of doing it without the presence of a medical expert. Your baby could have had all sorts of trouble or other unfortunate things that also happen "in nature" and by the time you want to get help it could be late. Why would you gamble with a child's life if God gave us the common sense to be safe rather than sorry?

  • @Illchangeitlater - Since I do not believe in your god, I do not have fear. I have the knowledge and power to birth my baby just like women have been doing since the DAWN OF TIME. Do you not understand that our bodies are designed to birth?? Hospitals came into the picture well after the fact. It is such a shame that women are so scared to birth naturally. I feel sorry for people like you. Scared. Fearful. Reliant on others to do for them what they can do themselves.

  • @xposethelies

You have a strong distaste for the medical community.

    SMART!!! ;-)

  • @Illchangeitlater - Unfortunately, the "medical expert" that assists during a home birth doesn't do a thing. YOU are the one in labor, YOU are the one who will push & deliver that baby. YOU. Only YOU. No one else. It is unbelievable that because someone went to school and has a degree- people put their lives in the hands of another because they think they are more capable. They are human too. We all are. Our bodies are capable with or without someone's help.

  • @xposethelies That's absolutely NOT what I meant. Would you know what to do if your baby was born blue? Had open ductus, Hypoglycemea? What if your bloodpresure went sky high? What if the baby had a stroke? These are very real threats that happen to babies and could all be fixed with fast professional help. You don't live in a third world country so it's amazing to me why you would risk these things while, as you said, you're the one doing the labor and the nurse just assists.

  • Wow! Amazing! You're so brave! Beautiful experience!

  • @lyttlemyss - thank you. Not brave, just empowered. Educated. Doing what women all over the WORLD do on a daily basis. The western world is sadly misinformed.

  • beautiful... so empowering ... congrats !!!

  • @slave2jayah Thank you!!

  • How long were you in labor before you gave birth?

  • @Lori10111 - maybe an hour.

  • That was beautiful , I almost cried , but men don't cry so I didn't

  • @GarynLouis -- That was too cute!! Thank you!! And yes, men do cry! : )

  • This is so beautiful..!!!!!

  • @MachoSheri - thank you so much!!

  • good job great birth

  • @Raluca504 -- Not really. That's your sad view. How unfortunate for you.

  • Congratulations! What a beautiful birth! Good job mama :)

  • @perfectlessons -- Thank you so much!!

  • how long were u in labor for? im 6 months pregnant and im deeply conseidering home water birth, im just not sure that i could stand the pain for a long time. but if its as peaceful as yours was i REALLY want to do it.

  • @Melodin1 My mom has had 6 home water births. She said she NEVER wants to go back to a "land birth" (out of the water) or a hospital if it isn't necessary. She said having a baby in the water is way less painful. After watching 3 of her water births, I am for sure going to have water births (if I can) when I have kids. I hope all goes well for you, and congratulations! :)

  • @Melodin1 -- Do your research, and meditate. Those are the two most powerful things you have going for you in a natural birth. Breathing is all you've got, and the will power to know that YOU CAN DO THIS. I was in labor for about an hour.

  • definitely beautiful! you did fantastic, i admire your courageousness i have had four hospital births but they never turned out how "i wanted" i wish i could do it all over again and be peaceful at home :) !!!!! congrats!

  • @majesstik6-- Thank you! We did not like our hospital births either. Both not good experiences- from being induced (unnecessary) to epidurals (a must if you are induced) and cord cutting too soon- we will never birth in a hospital. Ever again.

  • Wow, most beautiful baby birh i have ever seen. Hats off to you!

  • @adrienne5279 -- Well that is lovely of you to say!! Thanks so much!

  • Congratulations! We had a lotus birth, too. I disliked the creepy comments so I made it so that I had to approve them for my video but I still had to go through and delete them.

  • @EandR92 - people are soooooo uneducated when it comes to birth and lotus birth especially!!! I hear that.... it's hard to listen to the negative - that's life tho. Dark and light. The light will always shine and prevail, just as truth is the light- and you cannot deny the truth.

  • =o Beautiful

  • Congrats ya a mama hope it goes alright !!!

  • Love this

  • Okay, that was the best looking birth I've ever seen. I wish I had the 'balls' to do that... I'm due in 15 weeks.

  • @pixelairship - thank you! It doesn't take balls- just the mind set of I CAN DO THIS. Do your research on natural birth.

  • This is beautiful and so encouraging. Every time I mention to someone that I'm planning to have a natural birth aka no drugs they look at me like I have two heads. How did you cope with the pain? Do you recommend any books that help with that? Thanks and congratulations on your baby!!

  • @mlatorre87-- The pain wasn't that big of a deal. The contractions sucked of course, but they were doing their job. I was in the mindset of 'just go with it. Don't fight it. Let my body do what it is supposed to" and it did. Perfectly. I meditated about her birth very much and read a ton on natural birth. I watch many videos and got inspiration! The internet is your best friend when it comes to knowledge!!

  • Thank you for sharing your beautiful birth! Congrats to you and your family!

  • congrats on that amazing birth experience. I'm a midwife student and I wish every newborn and every mother could start that peacefull and self-determinated into their new lifes.

  • @MadySophie -- Awesome!! Thank you.

  • You ma'am are a PRO lol! And an inspiration! I want to have a natural home birth but I'm so afraid to go through with it. You went through that w/ so much ease. Congrats to you and your family :)

  • @Fayme20 -- Thank you!! There's no reason to be afraid of something so natural- It's all in your head. Literally. Once you BELIEVE that you can do something, you can. It takes the knowledge of knowing that we are powerful and so much more capable than people are led to believe. There's nothing to fear but fear itself. ...

  • beautiful!!!

  • wow

  • :( awww this made me cry.lol.

  • That was amazing!..God Blesss you and your family

  • congrats i dont think i could do that

  • congratulations on your baby. that was really nice. i only have to say though I kept wanting to yell "sit down!". The baby's head was underwater I guess but to anyone else watching you want to make sure your baby's head stays underwater the whole way through. Once oxygen hits your baby's face they will try to breath and thus you don't want to put them back in the water, and you not know it because they are still passing through. IDK for sure, but that may be the case logically.

  • beautiful

  • Beautiful! Did she have meconium? Any breathing problems after with the cloudy fluids? Amazing... You go!

  • What an amazing feeling to do it natural, isn't it? It's like a runner's high but 100 times better. Just incredibly emotionally euphoric and so much love. I loved my natural versus medicated birth. So wonderful. Congratulations to you and I'm so happy you were able to find the resources you needed to make an informed decision! Congrats again!

  • aw so cute! :)

  • Im tearing up.... Congratulations :)

  • crying<3 Thank you

  • wonderful healthy natural birth! What an inspiration

  • Holy shit wow

  • wow this made me cry it was just so amazing I'm 22 and having my very first baby so excited I'm 35 weeks i wanted a homebirth but my house is under construction and my mom wont let me use hers I couldn't find a midwife near me so I am havin mine at a hospital but I'm still going natural like I wanted but next time i wanted to take some birthing classes with my hubby and do this just with me and him that would be so awesome and calming and just neat if i could..

  • Love it! admire your responsibility and guts .... also the film the business of being born is amazing. I have 6 more weeks to go and of course I choose to have a water birth...but with the help of my midwife hehehe is natural!!! ♥

  • @lawofficemills - Thank you for your positivity!! : ) I wish you the best of luck with your delivery and baby!! Is this your first? Keep it natural- you won't regret what you went through, knowing it was all for that amazing life you bring into the world. Something happens to a woman during natural birth- it's priceless. Can't get that kind of love from an epidural or pitocin....

  • Great job, Mumma! Thanks for sharing with us all. I am about to have my third baby - my first home birth. An experience to be cherished.

  • @TheYogaMama - That's awesome!!! So you are going for a home birth with your third as well?! : ) Congrats to you on your new little one and I hope it is a smooth, easy labor for you and baby... Namaste.

  • I'm pregnant and past my due date and I'm having a water birth I'm scared did it hurt ? By the way congrats and this is my first

  • @sweetyrox96 -- Congrats to you on your first! How exciting!! I'm assuming you've had the baby by now...? Did you get to have your water birth as planned? Let me know how it went! ...

P.S. Nothing to be scared of- the only thing to fear is fear itself.

  • Oh I LOVED this! :) Thank you for sharing your special birth with us.. (I've been a Doula for 4 years and have recently retired and am now a Student Midwife!) And I am SO wanting to do an UC with my next bub! CONGRATULATIONS MOMMA!!

  • @Semperfiwmn -- Thank you for saying!! : ) I'm glad you appreciated it! ..That's great to hear about you becoming a midwife- we need more of them badly- it makes me hopeful that we can turn things around from hospital births and educate the masses on what birth should be... If you can experience a UC, I highly recommend it!! It's beautiful.

  • that was beautiful.

  • @BunnyFun - Thank you very much!

  • congrats! beautiful!!

  • @TheStarliner222 - Thanks alot!!! : )

  • what was the brown thing that came out before the baby arrived

  • @StephanieIdahosa - Baby had a bowel movement before she was born, so her amniotic fluid was stained with her meconium.

  • I really don't understand why people feel the need to say anything other than "congratulations". The birth experience was clearly beautiful, successful and empowering. This is how all babies have been brought into this world since the first person was born, whether in a tub, a bed, the woods, etc. Negativity doesn't enter into this after the fact. The baby and mother are clearly healthy and doing well. Again, CONGRATS to you, Mama. You are amazing! :)

  • @thevelvetfog777 well said. and i agree.

  • @yamahonkawazuki - I as well!! : )

  • @thevelvetfog777 - Everything you said was perfect. Couldn't have said it any better!! I appreciate your lovely words and positivity!!!! Beautiful. I thank you. Namaste.

  • Beautiful waterbirth. And don't take any crap from anbody else. Congrats

  • @mjlover7531 -- Why Thank You!! ... Never have, and I never will. Wisdom is a beautiful thing.

  • Good job mom!! She is beautiful!! I gave birth in a clean and professional hospital that I worked in. Good thing I did because she too was born with the merconium and i know i misspelled that... However she inhaled it on the way out and came out not breathing and needed to be suctioned. Needless to say I Thank God that she was born in a hospital because I wouldn't have my beautiful daughter now. I love her with all of my heart. She is almost 12 now. Enjoy yours.

  • Cool !

  • Congrats on your third kid!!!

  • i told you it is fecal mater it was in the bath tub why get ofecive with me about it

  • @hannah74306 -- Correction- OFFENSIVE. Learn how to spell if you're so educated!

  • in 1:08 , WOW!

  • That's cool. I thought it was funny how she kept saying "o god". It's like it finally hit her, even though she carried the little girl inside her for so long. So cool thanks for posting :)

  • So sad and good advantage for me. so thank you so much for this video god grace almost me crying

  • I want this soon bad one day. Just like this. But no one in my family would support me... Just that I'm being 'dangerous'

  • @desertedsoulx -- When others are unfamiliar with something, they tend to label and judge. This is called being ignorant. Don't let others' ignorance stop you from something that is most likely the right and best decision for your body & a baby. Do your research. This is natural. This is normal. This is how humans give birth all over th planet. I wish you the best of luck in life & your search.

  • Please lord don't let the ignorant fool be black. I'm begging. Just once. Please forgive it for it does not know beauty when it see it or how to use auto correct lol. That was a masterpiece.

  • @KB89ent you are an idiot!

  • @KB89ent - LOL!! Are you referring to MEKMEN1 & their comments ???

  • @xposethelies yes i was. And so chick who don't know the whole story had the nerve to call me an idiot but her dumbass don't know. You just inspired me hun. I'm about to do a natural birth myself but I ain't got the balls to do it at home.

  • ew.

  • it could be fecal mater some times when the baby comes out the mother pees or gets a bowal movment

  • @hannah74306 -- For the 100th time, fecal matter does not come out of your vagina. The baby had meconium in her amniotic fluid.

  • @xposethelies yes it was in the bath tub im not stupid

  • @hannah74306 -- I'm sorry to have to correct you again, but perhaps you have a learning disability..? Watch again and see that the AMNIOTIC FLUID is stained with meconium. The fluid is emerging from my VAGINA, as it is AMNIOTIC FLUID from a BABY about to BE BORN. How exactly, does fecal matter come from a vagina?? Yes, your comment is stupid.

  • @xposethelies Fecal matter from the baby.

  • @xposethelies It happens.

  • @gregkelsliz --Obviously. It's called meconium.

  • bich is tated. lol tatoo hoe. heaven knows how much dick she sucked

  • @mekmen1 -- Your intelligence speaks volumes!!! Please take your ghetto self somewhere else. It's pathetic.
