I am a ex miner from Derbyshire and I am sick of people asking me why we didnt strike, remember we are not as tough as those miners from Yorkshire and Wales plus Maggie was a scary lady back then, we were already controled by our wifes and mothers, we thought one more woman controlong us wouldnt hurt. Out of principle we didnt have principles and thats why I am a ex miner but a proud Derbyshire man too.
