I am fighting the local shire to build one of these. They said straight up NO. We are only allowed to have them on a rural block as a temp storage compartment. Hopefully I will be the first in the area to build one. Lots of architects involved.

Nice idea but not very well executed. Take inspiration from someone like Samuel Mockbee for ideas of external finishes/features and you could reduce costs further and make them look less like a cheap chalet/caravan. Embrace the fact it's a shipping container rather than hide it behind twee finishes!

Around $85.00 a square foot??? Local construction is up to $140/ft now in Upstate New York. We also have a great cabin/camp line that will go anywhere, including Alaska but look more like 'home sweet home'
