  • Great

  • @valquilla Thanks!

  • I agree with the comments about soaking. Use dry chips or pellets, get them smoking, then move them away from the high heat. They will smolder and smoke for a long, long time.

  • I used to use soaked wood chips, but realized it just wastes my time. I've never had a problem using dry and it gives such a better smoke flavor.

  • Why soak the wood chips. They won't produce smoke until the edges become dry anyways, so might as well use dry chips at the beginning.

  • @vanscoyoc dry wood chips wont smoke and will just burn only the wet wood will work

  • You can just roll up some aluminum foil around wet wood chips, but I'd still rather soak em and put them on the side of the hot source.

  • @metalschooldrill

mix em up.. thats how i do it!

oh well every one got their own method of doing! :)

  • Thanks for answering Jason !

My daughter wants to do a music video and I think this camera is perfect! !

  • Jason Please .. could U tell me which video camera you used for this video? Thanks

  • Canon HV30. Hope this helps! Jason

  • if you don't feel like spending the extra money for that smoker box, you can always soak some wood chips, then wrap in some tin foil, and poke some holes in to let the smoke out.

    -best regards

  • That works too! Cheers, Jason

  • I just put the wet chips on my charcoal shortly before cooking. They catch fire and start to smoke nicely.

  • cool add-on for the grill, chef.

How do you plan out your videos? Are the food you cook in the videos what you already plan for dinner? Just wondering.

  • Hi, and thanks! We plan our videos based mostly on cool recipes we've enjoyed here at home, and in the restaurants. After filming this video, we ate the fish for dinner. Feel free to send along your own requests. We have a lot of great recipes to share! Cheers, Jason
