YEAH if anyone has any clips of big bill could they get in touch here as well, he's my biological granddad but i never got to see the show, so just wanted to have a look!!
Thanks for clips of the league though, my dad [not bill's son] enjoyed it!!
I made sure I invested in this DVD 2 years ago before emigration purely on the strength of Frank Skinner's fine rip-off on Fantasy Football...
...only to find the incident not in Series 1! YorkshireMiner, if you own Series 2 on DVD, can you post to say if it features (and even upload if you have it?)
It's the awkward commentary that describes a greying, portly woman in her 50s playing darts, dressed in that painful style, described as 'quite a lady.....and.....a.....wife'...know it..?
Outstanding! I commend you for finding this, let alone bringing it onto YouTube. The commentators' earnest attempts at taking all this seriously just aren't for real! One question: was it me, or did I hear the late Frederick Sewards Trueman make a "light-hearted remark" about domestic violence at 3:17? YorkshireMiner, can you shed any light on this? :)
I hope you are not suggesting that Yorkshireminer would know anything about 'bashin' t'missus'! Not in a violent sense anyhow. Fred does seem to make light of it, but then it was 500 years ago, shortly before production commenced on 'Indoor League', and apparently old Henry was a master at nudging them pennies across the board. I'm more concerned about that Leeds Utd cardigan, looks like his mother knitted it - criminal indeed!
How great is that fellas knitted Leeds utd cardi! You'd only get away with that in the 70's.

"I hear Henry the 8th used to shove the ol' hap'neys about a bit when he weren't bashing missus!" Haha, class!

Hard to respond to any of that, other than to say that's not really to kick United when they're down at the present: but champion! :)
On a separate point, can I request that you knock out a video on the qualities of Barnsley's womenfolk? I, for one, would watch!! *lol*
