@almost7245 at MEPS they take some blood just to check for STI's, diseases, things like that. You will get blood drawn through your military career. They take it at MEPS, BMT, your first duty station and so on.

For example, a guy in my shop was doing convoy ops in Iraq and his truck was blown up, while taking fire he pulled the driver out of the burning vehicle while he was severly injured. There is Pararescue, Combat Controller, TACP, and more jobs that put us on the front lines. So before you comment on something you no nothing about, think. Instead of placing random spam on a video to inform people on the Air Force.

Some are there to call in the air strikes and make sure the pilot gets the exact target. Others are there to find EODs. I remember a guy saying the Army was losing a ton of guys in this area to EODs and when the air force came in nobody else died from EODs. We all work together bro. Also Pararescue will see hand to hand combat. We also fight in the air.
