it wasn't a good day. i was there. i'm the guy beside the pilot in a hat. he is a very skilled pilot. probably the best in the club.

@geekfish the pilot didnt, and the electri company got 2 trucks stuck in the mud...plus it was on a sunday, so they were not at all happy. lol and the property owner is a super nice guy and is on the board of directors with the company, so we didnt pay a thing. haha

A power company threatened to charge me £6000.00 for letting a felled tree branch fall onto powerlines and shorting out the supply to half a village but I pointed out that their safety trips had not operated properly so their maintenace could have been at fault. The engineer just scowled and mumbled something and we got away with it .!!!

Wow, how much did that salvage operation cost?  I don't imagine the power company is too thrilled to get calls like this!
