The id is most definitely Haruko, Atomsk was the superego, and the Medica Machine-thing was the Ego- which was why it constantly let up all that smoke-it was the practical, sardonic , "grown up" mentality that Takkun held on to. At the end, when the Medica Whatever was destroyed, we noticed Takkun being more funny and sociable.

The girl uses interdimensional travel to find and use parts of a transdimensional prison which holds one of the most powerfull beings in the universe. She uses the boy as a key because shes incapable of useing the dimensional tech or magic or whatever it is. That and the several intertwined love triangles makes FLCL. P.S. They aren't really guitars.

Yeah, this is probably one of my favorite animes ever (if not my favorite). Even if its only 6 episodes, The drawing style and animation are sweet. (Atleast I think so) the backgrounds and scenes all look like really awesome water color paintings. Not to mention its hilarious and crazy every minute on this show, along with the best fight scenes that tops most animes

It also has very nice heartwarming ending :]

@mikel7270 hey dude I dont know what kinda art style your in too but this style is my fav, it looks like an older and maybe somewhat sloppy style of drawing but with sweet colors, which I like. And I also, I'de like to add that this show has probably the best animation ive seen in an anime in a long time. Not just in some scenes but in ALL of them. Its funny, its got great fights, and has a nice story.

So yeah I totally recommend it :D (just be prepared for it being crazy like all the time lol)
