Trip to the Finals in '09, then the Eastern Conference Finals in 2010 to getting knocked out of the first round by the ATLANTA HAWKS in 2011.

welcome to the nets, love this trade, we got a vince carter in the making right here. i mean tell me wat rookies can say they got around pau gasol and dunk the ball. he brings more speed to the floor and with devin harris running the floor look for some offense. i would give terrence williams, lee, yi, lopez and harris the start let them build up their chemistry and in about a year or two might be good enough for playoffs.

Don't underestimate Carter just because he's 32. He can score 30+ points EVERY night. He scored less for the season of 09 for the fact that he wanted the rookies on the Nets to grow. Now that he's a Magic, he will have no problem scoring normally. Sure he can dunk like he did back in 2000, but he's still got a lot left in that department, and will amaze you EVERY night.

As much as i love the Nets, we are going to get blown out on a daily basis now without Vince Carter. Vince is our go to man for points EVERY night and now that he's gone, no clue. Vince is clutch, can handle pressure, and only gets better as the game is finishing up. Can't say that for Alston, Lee, or Battier. Though i'm trying to be as optimistic as possible.
