Very. It took me 3 trips over a period of about 5 or 6 years. But when its happening, you could probably go every day for days, weeks or even months depending on the nature and location of the flow.

How rare is this, I mean how often is there a lava flow at a good dive depth, and with good conditions?

@ 5:08 - 5:57 = why not leave the lava alone, @ 6:06 - 6:13 safety glove can protect hands.

As for the gloves, the goal was to get a lava tattoo, but I chickened out. Maybe next time.
