Gorgeous look! Im going to try and search the internet for these products. Such a huge fan of this type of makeup. Lisa you are amazing and do a fantastic job and explain things so well...Hooked on your channel:)
I love love love this look... I think this is my favorite video of yours!! From the first moment I watched it, this lipstick didnt leave my mind, I bought it today and the colour is a real refreshment for me! ( I am blonde, blue eyes, but I kinda got stuck on pinky-nude cold shades of lipsticks and blush ) Thank you Lisa, for your very useful tips and lessons, you are real artist!!
@foreverxkirsten Illamasqua (some of the product range anyway) is available online through Sephora, or if you are near a Sephora in a large city, in store.
hi! I'm an italian girl I really love these colours. I think they are going to follow this 2012 spring make up trend, aren't they? Could you help me? Where can I buy the blush and in particular the peachy mat lipstick?can I find them in internet to buy them online? Thank you so much!
Hi, lisa, i have been in Youtube for 4 years now, and i just discovered your channel!!! I can not beliave that took me this long! I really apreciate your amazing and professional work!
I used to think Michelle Phan was like a goddess but compared to Lisa Eldridge, she really does look like a novice. The only thing I will credit her with is using cheaper makeup because some of the looks Lisa uses are impossibly expensive to achieve (for me at least) and it makes me feel a little withered. But then again, I realize that it's not always about using the exact products it's about the look itself.
Okay I hope I don't sound like an oddball. But I was so curius as to how old you were when you called the model really young... You're 42....................................... WHAT. I'm not even joking I genuinely thought you were about 29. No flattery, honest truth!
actually beautifull! would it be possibly for you to make a tutorial for people with natural dark hair but have gone peroxide blonde because no matter what makeup i do it looks like loads! but i still want to have a really fresh looking face :S literally impossible! xxx
Hi Lisa, can you upload a video on finding the right shade of lipstick to go with different skin tones? And makeup for the different types of skin tones -- ~~Thanks
I really like this peachy look! I'm going to try this look but sadly I don't have the same lipstick but something similar. This video is really helpful.
I'm loving watching all of your videos :) I'm so glad I found you on youtube. You are so professional and it makes me want to learn more and more about makeup, thank you so much for that.
@f6f688 BarryM 147 is prety close, and you can find it in BarryM website and in asos as well (with free shipping) i got it when i saw this video and i love it :)
Hi, Lisa ! I was wondering did work on some stars and for example who .. and I really sorry for my English .. but I`m from Bulgaria ... btw you`re very beautiful :) ^^
lisa you are just fabulous and so far beyond talented. this is an absolutely gorgeous look! I saw another comment saying that they had Illamasqua's lipstick in "obey" and it didn't look like this - i have the same issue with my lipstick! I own it as well and it doesn't look like the color in this video. have they changed the formulation / color slightly at all? thank you so much!
When you are putting the eyeshadow on the lower lashes, how do you keep it from looking like dark circles? Whenever I do this, it seems to just highlight my undereye circles, and not my eye shape. Any tips?
@MissZofiee Try to find out what undertone is it... It can be blue, red, yellow, pink or white and you´ll see the color base. In this case, you can see the lipstick has a white undertone, very subtle
Gorgeous look! Obey has become so popular (along other great Illamasqua lipsticks) that there's a huge waiting list...glad I've picked up one in time :)
Amaaazing!!!... Those false lashes at the end really bring the whole look together!... Loove the color effect you get when looking at the entire picture!... You can really apreciate the modern take on this trend...
I cut this look out of Glamour and stuck it on my wall when I first saw it without knowing it was done by you, Lisa! I was going to ask for a video on it, but here it is! Beautiful, thankyou x
I'm an NC45 in MAC and hopefully I can recreate the look with Bobbi Brown's newer Rich Lip Color in Soft Coral. I have and use Illamasqua's lipsticks but that Obey one looks to light and paste-y for me.
oh lisa, I LOVED this make up in glamour.. it actually is here on my wall because it's so much inspiration :) you're such a sweetheart and talent! THANKS
@M1995C Have a look at Barry m lip paint 147 :) You have to apply it with a brush though because it doesnt do on very smoothly but its a nice colour. Less orange than this though x
Hi Lisa! i love the blush... I have the "My Hilghland Honey" blush by MAC, I guess it will go perfectly for that look, right? Thank you for your great tutorials :)
Hi Lisa i love the red lips ring your wearing and iv searched for the video where you mentioned where its from but cant find it :( can you please help me out i sent you a tweet about it too :) thx loads xx
it would be really helpful if she could put up colors in drug store brands that are comparable to the ones that are being used here. There's nothing like being able to achieve these kinds of looks on a budget, using brands such as L'oreal, Revlon, Almay, Cover Girl, Maybelline. Thx.
Hey, i want to get this lipstick, i have to get it online (so wont be able to try it on)- will this colour be ok on a skin colour that would be mac NC 41? x
hi. i love all of your videos and the tips that you add each time.
As I am an Indian, I request you to show some videos on wheatish to slightly dusky complexion like Indian complexion. It would give me better idea about the colour that would look better on me.
After watching this video, i bought the illamasqua lipstick obey from Debenhams and it doesnt look anything like this! mine is just a mauvy light pink :(
@Tinkerbaby321 no, have you tried it on yet. Its definitely not mauvey...theres no blue in there at all. More of a very pale/whitish orange when its on the lips. Let me know x
This style is definatly my favourite, both to wear on me and to apply on somebody else, i love the way you did it!!!
i have one thing to add though, i would still sculpt the cheekbone a little. I have oval face with round cheeks [not like your fabulous cheekbones] so i guess you understand my objection.
do u think i can also wear peachy lipstick even though i'm really pale? pale and pastel colours always make me look dead and boring. i love the peachy lip and would love it even more if i could pull it off. i know, its a stupid question cos u dont know what i look like. thanks anyway for your great tutorials.
this is so cool you always do photos for Vogue and the pictures are fantastic. when i look at the posters i doubt they are actual human because it's just too too pretty!
I really want that lipstick, ive been searching for a light orange! I dunno whether to get Illamasqua sonnet, brink or obey, but then i want obey on here, but when i see other swatches it looks pink! Please help!!? x
i hav more of a roundish face and my cheek bones arent very prominent wats the best way to created the illlusion of sculpted cheek bones so i can apply blush on it?
what brushes do you use in this video? The look is beautiful, you are one of my favourite makeup artists because you make the looks achievable. Plus I love No7!xx
I got myself the mymix foundation also, in fair 02 and it's beautiful. I had been thinking about trying it for a while and after hearing your comments on it I just went out and bought it (Boots in Belfast, Northern Ireland stock the mymix range). The blushes, lipsticks and glosses are also beautiful. Thank you for this video x
all i have to say is WOOOOW. thanks for your videos, makes me so happy any time i watch them. i wish you could do makeup on me when i visit london :) please do another video for that look with brigitte bardot eyeliner.
I loved the makeup in these pages, i tried to create some myself... i did the blue under the lower lash line, and the girl who was wearing leopard print and had a pony tail, with lots of lashes..
Love watching your videos, im so happy iv got to find out what products you used in that picture. Really like the lipstick, think i might have to get it... help with appying the individual lashes would be great, mine were ok for my first time but could be much better.
I have a major problem when I apply mascara, I always manage to get some on my upper eyelids, even though I hold my head right back ( ow my neck!!) is it the brush?? is there a better position to hold your head in? It really is a pain
Gorgeous! I also liked the first look you did for that story, the one with the bluey/lavender colour under the eyes. I rarely do a strong lip but this is one I can definitely have a go at. This is another colour to add to the shopping list when my boyf goes to Brum tomorrow! Btw, you're definitely prettier than the model x
you are so talented, i just wanted to ask the picture of the model, which glamour magazine issue is that from?? old or recent one and also where can we buy illamasqua products in the UK? :)
@hlakram You're so right!! The last time I bought it they said it was being discontinued so I bought several. However I just checked their website and its still there??! I'm pleased because I love it. Thanks for the tip off x
Lovely look Lisa - I have been using the trick of "massaging" the mascara wand at the roots, and it has a great look on the lashes - I think I need to carry on practicing though as I keep ending up with mascara on my upper lid! Fab vid as always!
@beautymusicfashion its a new limited edition one by No7 called 'Cocktail Dress' which comes out around April time and is part of the 7 Decades collection x
I do love a good statement lip. Perhaps it's worth considering blending some of the lip colour onto the cheek if that blusher is no longer available? -saves money to! :)
Thankyou for sharing, truly gorgeous as usual. Thankyou so much for taking the time to make these videos. It's really appreciated! And it's nice to see someone from the uk doing them, we need representation! haha xx
You are so beautiful! I am happy that you have decided to show us, beauty bloggers and gurus, your tips and tricks. It is sad that some professionals think they are better than girls who are not makeup artists and do makeup reviews, because we are just not qualified to say our opinion out there. You really give inspiration to us and thank you for that, Lisa!
Great video, I get so happy when I see you have made a video :) Love the look, very pretty! I loved all the beauty shots in Glamour, but that opening picture with the lilac /blue e/s was very special. Thanks for the video, you are a pleasure to watch! X
hi!!! the lipstick is gorgeous!!! It's seems the same that Audrey Hepburn wears in "Breakfast at Tiffany's! I can't buy the lipstick by Illamasuqua because the brand is not available in italy. do you know if mac has a lipstick with similar colour? thank you!!! ^^
Love EVERYTHING you do Lisa !The 60's look really suits you...beautiful. We always admire the pictures in magazines thinking " how so we do that...." so thank you !
Thank you for the tutorial Lisa! We are so lucky to have a make up artist of your level here.
This lip colour is absolutely fabulous!
Do you think you could also do a look with an orange based lipstick?(like Hara from Napoleon Perdis, or Morange from MAC). I love it and am fairly brave with bright lip colours, but not sure how to make this one wearable. And also, can pale people pull it off? (I have pink undertones, but they're mostly neutralised with my yellow based foundation). Thank you!
Hi Lisa, I don't know if you read any of the comments people post here but I just thought I'd say I love your work. I learned so much from your approach to skincare and makeup! Keep the videos coming. Thank you
absolutely gorgeous! 60's makeup is my favorite kind of look. pale skin, lips and loads of lashes...this is a nice way to emulate that look without as many products! thanks lisa!
btw, i think they still have peaches in the US-at least they did a few months ago, b/c i got it & it's my favorite blush

Love watching your videos, im so happy iv got to find out what products you used in that picture. Really like the lipstick, think i might have to get it... help with appying the individual lashes would be great, mine were ok for my first time but could be much better.
Thanks again xx

sinsinx12 2 years ago
@hlakram You're so right!! The last time I bought it they said it was being discontinued so I bought several. However I just checked their website and its still there??! I'm pleased because I love it. Thanks for the tip off x

Lovely look Lisa - I have been using the trick of "massaging" the mascara wand at the roots, and it has a great look on the lashes - I think I need to carry on practicing though as I keep ending up with mascara on my upper lid! Fab vid as always!
mizzworthy 2 years ago
@mizzworthy yeah it works wonders...hold your nerve and keep it there for ages massaging away! Thanks for commenting x

can you reccomend a foundation for very, very light skin... an off white basically, thanks :)

I do love a good statement lip. Perhaps it's worth considering blending some of the lip colour onto the cheek if that blusher is no longer available? -saves money to! :)

Thank you!
