Ronaldinho in his prime was better than Messi is today. But Barça wasn't even half the team it is today. Also, Messi is more of an attacker than Ronaldinho, pretty much like Zico and Maradona. Zico scored twice the goals in his carrer, won a lot more titles(although no WC) but was a lot more agressive. Maradona was more of a assisting guy with scoring capabilities. Like Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho did some things that Messi never will. Some goals, passes, crossings, moves...etc
