  • @EVERYONE! Lord have mercy...lol...I am half Korean, half Black and all these petty comments, back and forth, ETC ETC...are embarrassing on BOTH sides of the track...geez ppl..let ppl say what they say, feel how they feel, and do what they do! Those that anger you control you and I refuse to let someone's OPINION educated or not disrupt My inner knowing of who I AM...like they say..mind over matter...you shouldnt mind because they dont matter...atleast thats how My World operates....PEACE & LOVE

  • it must be an amazing life.. i admire her so much..

  • Shes cute but I feel bad for her. She always looks someone irritated or gives off a 'lets just get this over with " kind of vibe. she was pretty happy/nice in this video but you could def see parts when her mom is talking she obviously looks glum or something. I think she just wants to talk about herself?? And you could totally tell at the end when her mom starts playing the piano.. her eyes and her face is very 'bitchy'..... Also no one can be that naturally skinny..

  • @BabySpit You're probably totally off. My face always looks bitchy too, but that's just how my face is. My blank face looks mean to some people. Not everyone was boring looking a certain way, you know. Great job judging someone you don't even know, though.

  • @gladitsnotme * born looking a certain way

  • @aiwegbue I apologize for all the racist people and the one-minded comments you've read on here. Blackbis beautiful honey and please prove these bitches wrong and fulfill your dream of modeling. Don't let this get you down cuz I'm rootin for ya. I'm biracial half black half white and I would love to see more ethnic representation in modeling! Got for it and dont let ANYONE stop you! Best of luck!:)

  • @vietorkorean Are you for real! Ok everyone he just said about every racist thing you can say about Africans so I think it time for us to say every racist Asian stereotype... But since I'm more educated and actually craves for peace and not war like your rice eating slanted eye ass.. Im not going to.. O wait i think I just did! I can't wait to see your Asian crispy ass burn in hell! Grow up and maybe go to school while your at it!

  • @purposedrivenlife Really bitch! O my gosh have you been living in a damn cave for your whole life? Your just some fat girl who gets her entertainment by posting racist comments on chanels videos. Where were you on the dolce and gabbana catwalk last season? O right I forgot your just some fat uneducated redneck who gets off on YouTube arguments! Karmas gonna bite you in the ass so bad bitch!

  • @EVERYONE I'm a 12 yr old girl who b4 reading comments here wanted to be a model but because I'm black the racist comments from that stupid Asian girl made me cry. Ignorance will get you nowhere

  • shes not horrible looking but whenever she open her mouth i feel embarrassed for her nd embarrassed to be a women

  • BOTH CHANEL & HER MOM R GEORGOUS!!! 2 ME HER MOMS LOOKS FULL ASIAN. WHEN I 1ST SAW HER MOM, I THOUGHT SHE WAS 100% ASIAN (KOREAN). ALTHOUGH SHE LOOKS BLASIAN 2. SO, UUUGGHHH YEA BLK & ASIAN IS A BEATIFUL COMBO!!!

  • @sidbre2006 full lush dark hair is sexy, nappy crinkly hair and a gorilla nose is not. Biracial women are the most desired if you are white/latina or white/asian, not white/black (unless you lean more on the white side like Jennifer Beals). Halle Berry has a very AVERAGE face with a super hot skinny athletic body...her daughter is gorgeous beyond words though with her exotic features. 1/4 black are hot....1/2 black are only hot if they have more Caucasian features.

  • @purposedrivenlife ah! Here is the rub her mom is biracial she would be 1/4 Korean or is the nappy crinkly hair person you refer to Chanel Iman :/ hmmm..

  • @sidbre2006

oh yes, Black is superior race with exotic features.... definitely

big nose and thick lips with a protruding mouth.....mmm mmm mm sounds exotic and beautiful indeed =)

  • @vietorkorean The down syndrome look Asians have isn't really something to behold, so i don't know where your superiority complex is placed maybe you had a few too many compliments from hentai assessed anime weebos and it got to your head a bit too much? beauty is subjective, you don't have to find black people attractive but be rude about it, because everyone has something bad to say about everyone.

  • @chillydogification

oh wow someone who looks like a gorilla with nappy hair is telling me i have a down syndrome look...

    i'm so hurt T_T

  • @vietorkorean How about some third party perspective then. 2 bad links don't work. you actually look like you have down syndrome, whilst i don't really look like a gorrilla , the truth hurts, so i belive you when you say your hurt T_T XD

  • @sidbre2006

we don't prefer to look anything else except ourselves, but if we have to choose, the majority of us would rather be looking like a pale ghost than a nappy headed monkey :D

  • I luuuuuuv Chanel but she remides me of Amerie sometimes....i dont know y tho...

  • @dwmusic147 They're both Korean-black, so that would make sense.

  • you can tell her mom playing that piano is really special to her.

  • her mom is soo pretty

  • she wouldn't look pretty without those Asian genes, she must love her mom lots =)

  • @vietorkorean obviously the black genes helped out. She's 75% black

  • @sweetbiella

yea which is why she's not as pretty as she could be....

but don't let my opinion bothers u though, i'm a very racist person ;)

  • @vietorkorean SAD.

  • @Karyn6133

yea i'm sad that i can't actually be racist like this in real life without getting kill :(

  • @vietorkorean you're super ignorant..

  • @rianrobot

yeah, i chose to be this way :D

  • @vietorkorean not something to be proud of especially if you're not trollin..

  • @vietorkorean It is amazing the hateful shit I see on youtube. Did you really have to say something like that? Are you saying that African americans or people who are Black are not beautiful? Would you really be that hateful? my god, people never cease to amaze me with the amount of hate and venom they spit out.

  • @khalilahinjapan

well yes, that is precisely what i meant to said. I just don't find African traits attractive. But this is merely my own opinion and not of my race. This also doesn't make me a racist though, because even though u might not find someone attractive, u can still be respectful and considerate toward them. So it wasn't really "hate" or "venom" that i was spitting ya see?

  • @vietorkorean yes like i dont find quite a few Asian characteristics attractive at all but i love all people so I dont care about that and what you said was not something you would say in polite company. Just saying and yes everyone is open to their own opinion but opinions about something you cannot help or are born with is unfair. oh well peace....

  • @khalilahinjapan

    fair point...

  • Wow, her mother is so beautiful, just like her! I love seeing interracial couples/marriages and biracial/multiracial kids! I'm biracial myself, Black and Puerto Rican, and I'm very proud of my heritage! Mixed people represent!

  • i've met Chanel and her mother so many times backstage at the NYC fashion shows during fashion week, and i can tell you all from 1st hand experience...they both are so nice, sweet, and very approachable. her mother even lets me call her mom...i love them both.

  • Lets celebrate this our own beautiful black model and drop the racist comments. After all we all came from Africa including white and Asians!

  • it makes sense that she would mention she's part korean, i mean, it's not like she's gonna say, i'm part black because we can all tell she is, but the fact she part korean is not as obvious so it needs to be said for people who don't know. I don't see the problem with that, all the people I know who are of mixed race tend to mention more the gene that's less obvious, and it makes sense because it's unnecessary to point out the obvious... i don't see why people are making such a big fuss over it!

  • @fashaS2ace I can relate to that. I'm Afro-Latina, and sometimes I do mention my puerto rican side more than my black side because my black side is very obvious. I'm proud of my heritage and I want the world to know that my beauty isn't just black, but a very rich and beautiful mixture. And then there's other stuff...like the fact that I was adopted. I have to mention my heritage anyway or else people will think I'm black and white, and that's very annoying.

  • Great video! So what people if she wants to say that she has Korean in her? She does. It's whats make her unique. I am mixed myself and I am a sum of different races and ethnicities not just one and am proud of each and everyone.

  • The fact that 'Black Beauties' even ever showed up on Korean Vogue in my lifetime is SHOCKING enough!! Wonders will never cease as they say...

  • two spoilt women

  • what are gi babies? :S

  • @ppoppollll her mom meant the children of gis (american soldiers) and native women across the world... in this case chanel's grandpa was an african american gi and the grandma was a korean woman, most likely he was serving in the korean war of the 50s.

both norht & south korea have very racist policies towards citizenship. you only hold korean citizenship if you are hundred percent ethnically korean!

glad she got to make her mom so proud :)

  • @Eurafrican Not true. You hold Korean citizenship if the mother is Korean citizen regardless of the citizenship or race of the father.

  • @kaycutie1 maybe thats a recent law, i'll check it. but definitely for a long time multiethnic/national people were banned from holding korean citizenship. that is a fact i'll reference. amerie's mother is korean and she mentions that she could not legally hold korean citizenship.

  • It's beautiful the love they share as mother and daughter.

  • i notice every time people come across a beautiful black woman

and they find out she has just a little admixture in her

they emphasize that part of her as much as they can

giving all the credit for her beauty to her non black side

i dont think Chanel looks asian at all

if it was not known that she was 1/4 korean

do you think korean vogue would have been as willing to put her on the cover

  • @tony666ism

I completely agree with you. Every single interview I have seen with Chanel she mentions the fact that she is Korean. I hate how people can't just admit a woman is beautiful simply because she is black; it always has to be because she has a little something else in her.

  • @sparkle1993 that's very true and I agree 100%. It's kind of heartbreaking to know that so many people prefer mixed blacks to non-mixed blacks. like in fashion, there are way more light skinned black models, both mixed and non-mixed, than dark skin black models. We're all beautiful. Contrastingly, however, I think alot of people see Halle Berry as being beautiful because she's black. She's mixed but she identifies as black and I think that has had a profound impact on the way people view her.

  • @sparkle1993 there's also beyonce and rihanna. They have a little something extra in them but I think most people see them as black. About chanel, you also have to realize that alot of mixed people are proud to be mixed. They might mention their heritage because of pride. It's not always about the fact that alot of people can't or won't accept "blackness" or "black beauty" and prefer "mixed beauty" instead. But yes, it is a big issue that really needs attention and a resolution.

  • @chilvari i just think at the end of the day we are all humans and whether we choose to say we are half (speaking of myself) that it is who we are, and why should we as humans be ashamed to say what we are. its so important for people to accept diversity... however that is so much easier to say because there are those in society who are ignorant.

  • @tony666ism You can look at her eyes and tell that she has some Asian in her.

  • @tony666ism

    Well said.

  • @tony666ism

    Well said.

Hines Ward spoke about his mother being spit on in Korea for having a half black child. It took him a long time to get over it. Now he has a foundation dealing with the still very prevalent racism that biracial children of Korean and Black parents suffer from in South Korea. Although I am not black, I did live in Korea for awhile. Despite the love of certain aspects of black culture. Blacks still deal with a lot of racism.

Youtube Video: "Hines Ward Hapa Hero"

  • @drbayoms Racism is in every country. I'm asian went to a High School with 75% blacks. There was not a day when some black kid wanted to fight with me cuz I was asian. In terms of racism USA is the worst.

  • @kimotaco

Hopefully you were not one of those Asian kids who thought they were better than everyone else. I am sure that was not the case, right? Anyway, Hines mother and father felt it would be better in the USA for them. And despite the problems they encountered in the USA in terms of racism. Ward's mother was never spat on, threatened or ostracized in America to the extent MANY biracial children (especially Black /Korean mixed kids) in Korea still are. Your pain does not change that reality.

  • @kimotaco

Notice I did not doubt anything you said you experienced? Your painful story is similar to biracial black/white kids, asian/latino kids, etc. Biracial kids endure a lot. But what they experience in the USA in racial terms, pales in comparison to what biracial kids in Korea endure. Just saying.

  • Her mother is a GI baby....so Chanel is .75 Black and .25 Korean. But her mix looks nice though, her and Amerie both are really pretty.

  • funny, The men never seem to take care of their kids do they. i bet he's workin up a story now. ugh.. men R such f*kktards. They can be happy to f*kk yet when teh chick gets preggers she's suddenly a bitch tryin to get u'r money. Cute.

  • Whats the song?

  • i just met her over the weekend at a local store in nyc she is sooo damn genuine and sweet. i really admire her and hope she continues to go far

  • OMG I go to that petco all the time!!! lmao

  • i think her mom looks prettier

  • In my opinion is that korean pepople are prettier than other asain.

  • her mother is very beautiful (:

how tall do you guys think her mom is?

  • wow so it's just her Korean side that makes her beautiful huh? you all need to take a break from facebook, taylor swift and sexting. try studying history and you will see that africans migrated to korea thousands of years ago. similar bloodlines you idiots. just so it is not forgotten she is 3/4 black.

  • @drbayoms

who said its just her Korean side that makes her beautiful? yea, they emphasized that she's part Korean a lot but im sure they didnt say that its JUST her Korean side that makes her beautiful

  • it is

  • omg, her mother is gorgeous!

i loved the baby pics and piano playing the best of all.

  • OMG~~~

You got Korean in you... it so wonderful that you are in such a good relationship with your mom...the most important, and your mom is so beautiful as well.

  • That's a nice mercedes benz g class

  • Aww I have tears watching this..I wish I had a daughter to play piano for

  • how sweeeet!!!

  • LOVE U CHANEL! :)

  • Wow, Korean genes are very strong. The mother is half Korean, but looks like she is full Korean and the daughter is 3/4 black 1/4 Korean, but looks half Korean.

  • Asian genes are very strong. You can see Asian features in people all the way down to the third and fourth generation. What a beautiful model and mother.

  • I'm filipino and black. Omg. People think I'm just filipino. How you are soo right.

  • @lindsey2021 funny i was saying the same thing.. Asian and black genes are the strongest genes on earth..but allot of times in black/asian mixes the Korean(asian) genes dominate!!crazy but allot of times true!!

  • @lindsey2021 But Black genes are the strongest.

P.S. Her mother is half black.

  • Comment removed

  • @lindsey2021 HAHA! SIKE. Im 1/4 asian and I do not have any asian traits what so ever.
