I was about ready to accept his assertions in other videos that the New Testamant was largely a true account of what people witnessed and perceived in the time of Christ until I saw that he also belives the old testament is true. Just seeing one distant galaxy through a telescope combined with knowledge of the speed of light is enough to refute Genesis 1. An acurate copy of the truth would still be the truth, but plainly it was not the truth. I'm sure people believed it at the time though.
It's interesting how so many fight against the Bible because they choose darkness rather than the Light of the Creator of the Universe, Jesus. I know, it's not enough that every time a check is dated, His life is acknowledged, or the guilt feelings are from being guilty. My prayer is that those fighting against Jesus and His Word will receive His offer of love and forgiveness, or else sadly, this life is the best it will get. Whereas this is the worst it gets for me. PTL Jesus, 4ever.

ok, firstly, this only gives evidence of the copied accuracy of the scripture, not it's factual accuracy. Secondly we then need historic evidence of the accuracy of the scribes themselves - we do not know whether their original documents to copy from were 'approved' by a higher authority for example. Thirdly his comments, even if they were entirely true, would only be applicable to copies in hebrew, since it's impossible that their method could be applied to an accurate English translation.
additionally, there are several sources of the old testament, the first Christian version of the old testament was taken from the Septuagint, the oldest Greek version. There have been many revisions since - so the scribe's H=H, E=E, method has already been compromised from the dawn of Christianity. Oh yeah, someone should tell the guy to revise his speech on that part too, they wouldn't have been writing any E's because there's no E in the Hebrew alphabet lol. He needs to do his research.

Every copy of The Lord of the Rings is an accurate copy of the book written by JRR Tolkien but this accuracy does not mean that Frodo, Gandalf or Aragorn were ever real people or that their adventures every really happened. An accurate copy of a myth is still just a myth.

All it takes is dedication of marketers as meticulous as those scribes 2000 yrs ago. They may even build a church on Mr. Frodo name. Such is human condition- poor humanity enslaved, beaten, pushed, killed, forced ... all because of one apple ! God can't be that crazy !
