Never understood RIP because the person is dead furthermore if they aren't resting in peace I think that the live folks are in trouble in in fact they aren't RIP!
To me what makes Malcolm stand out as a social leader is that he was militant. But I can understand his hesitance to identify what that description since it has negative connotations. But for the record here is the definition of militant: Combative and aggressive in support of a political or social cause. The reason that we are still facing the same problems today is because of people's fear of being militant. "Power concedes nothing without a demand." - Frederick Douglas
This was the best documentary. You covered all sides; Malcolm's side, the side of the gang known as the Nation of Islam, you even had the guy who infiltrated the NOI! This was awesome!!! Thanks for posting

Reporter: "Do you consider yourself militant?" Malcolm X: (laughs) - "I consider myself Malcolm." The one thing that I understand about Malcolm after many years of studying his life and words is that, above all, he wasn't about self promotion, but about the truth of his people's condition and that condition's alleviation. Also, at heart, he was a humble man, which was known to all who knew him, and to all who understand his core. He wore his nobility lightly as air.
it doesn't matter in what fashion both martin or malcolm used. they both ended up equally dead. That was his point. You can't love or make a difference unless you stand up for yourself
i consider malcom as a one of the greatest speakers and human beings who ever walked on this earth he may have had agressive views but most of the things he said where true definetely a great man
He is very probably in Heaven. I would love to see him and his wife there if Allah would even send me to Heaven too insha Allah. I admire both him and his wife. After everything that happened, to raise her children alone, be strong and remain strong, I admire that too. Sometimes I lose hope in life, then I start thinking about Malcom, how he lived his life and I think about his wife and then I begin hoping again. Even if you don't agree with everything, Malcolm X is an inspiration in many ways.
Look how after every major or minor prophet or person of color or man of the people is lost, the enemy becomes his greatest backer or 1 that confides in his thinking, they are playing u, not me, cause i'm aware to Yakubs tricks, but look at the mockery we accept. They see all this injustice and do nothing but create and cause more, then put you in the publics eye as a saint after u r gone! And what's even sadder they know the nigras will fall for it, they always do, however everyone won't be saved!
:58 the comment was at that moment, he was proud to be black!! Again people, listen to whom u look up 2. U mean out of all this man has accomplished in satans world and in his own personal life,it took 4 a mans death and then those brothers being gods and burying their brother for this man to say this, ridiculous, this is y those of us from the order of the nation, soldier and do what we have done and do,which is to rid our people of that poisionous swine thinking, everyword counts for something.
I am inspired by Malcolm X to change the world as he has. To make the world a better place for all human beings to live. I believe his ways of thinking were drifting towards Marxism. I wish to carry on my perceived views of his teaching onwards. Malcolm is an inspiration to all humans no matter what race. The world is a nasty place that needs to be changed and it is us that can change it. The poor and opressed. Fight Capitalism!
This, as stated before me is perhaps the greatest documentation of Malcolm X. I am glad that it provides the growth that changed his views. It also is a lesson as to how radical doctrines obtain their followers, Malcolm X's "colorful" life before the NOI (Nation of Islam) only made him easily manipulated by the NOI. Even when evicted from his house by the NOI, knowing that murder was imminent, he kept HIS views on human equality. Thank you for sharing this.
This was such a great documentary one one of the greatest. Although I do not share the same faith as he did, nor agree with some of his views, I cannot say his words did not move me or at least made me think when he spoke.
this was very amazing documentary,i was looking on the amount of people who had view this documentary and the number was so low i cant understand why this was a great guy.black people will not know them self until there back are against the wall
Amazing documentary! thankyou so much for posting this...malcolm represents a man whose strong characteristics and high intellect is now hard to find in most people...Although some may not agree with his teachings and methods, you can't help but admire him for his immense self-belief and the way he implemented them...Malcolm X RIP...I shall continue to learn so much more about this man.
props!

A Very Great Documentary. Accurate and Inclusive of all of the Statements and Faces of the people who were around Malcolm.
We have so few heros, it is a shame that we have to keep looking back to find them.
