But now they're abandoned and filled with water. A lot of them are like 50 ft deep. You can see how the walls go up and then dip in like 3 feet, then go up and dip in again from them cutting and blasting the walls away.
i'm gonna say again...that this jump is cool...but fucking stupid. one slip and you hit that fucking concrete wall. then, you guys can be like me with metal in your fucking legs. go cliff jumping....don't be fucking stupid about it.

That is in bloomington. The same quarry they filmed the movie Breaking Away. Also the same quarry a kid died at this weekend. The kid who died jumped about thirty feet lower than the nut in this video. This video is the highest i have ever seen anyone jump there, hell or just about anywhere. wild.
The kid who died, which was filmed by his buddies, his face smacked knocking him out and he sank before anyone could get to him. Sad. Police patrol this quarry now though. Trespassing.
