  • Great video, fabulous song. I'm so glad I discovered this band! Love the beginning of this track too, some fabulous sounds and brilliant use of the stylophone.

  • this is world class !!! when you coming back to glasgow i loved the gig this year at the art school .

  • "because I born of thunder but stripped of my wonder" one of my favorite lyrics ever!

  • I think they channeled ELO for this video. Great job guys!

  • the phoenix foundation are amazing!! Hitchcock made eagle vs shark. Taika Waititi arrives in the car! Fucking genius.

  • this band is pretty sweet my bro is in nz college and he went to one of their concerts and he said it was awesome

  • lol wow...they really made this video look very retro peharps something from 1979-1982. Video's that parents use to watch, anyway great song!

  • Really great lyrics. I think these guys are one of the few true "Kiwi" bands going round at the moment.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Fantastic song, very tuney. Very proud to be a Wellingtonian. For those interested, try and get hold of another one of PF's songs, called "Nest Egg" Brilliant. Pitty they dont have the orginal sound version on You Tube. Keep up the fantastic work guys!!!

  • awesome song & video.

  • I love this song so much!

I think its cool how you record in Newtown because thats where i go to school!

theres a point in it when your playing electric guitar but the music has an acoustic guitar! I guess your using an Acoustic Simulator

  • Fantastic song.

  • Wow, I love this song! I heard these guys on the Eagle vs. Shark soundtrack and loved them. This song reminds a lot of some Electric Light Orchestra. Not sure if Luke Buda is a fan of Jeff Lynne as I am a new fan but this song reminded me of ELO.

  • what a great tune....... could've easily came out in the 80s! it just goes to show that there's some decent music coming out of New Zealand ;)

  • what was the second song the performed called?

    it was VERY catchy :)

    any ideas?

  • It was probably 'Let Me Die A Woman', which is on Horsepower.

  • Happy Ending is the latest

  • Great song, one of the best NZ bands. Awesome!

  • nz music still alive and kicking..thank god (buddah)

  • Thu 14 Feb. PF are live & free at Frank Kitts Park in Wellington at 8 pm.

    c u there

  • going to see them this weekend :)

  • new zealand rocks!

  • Was curious after hearing about these guys. Might have to go buy the album now - certainly like the sound they've got going.

  • oo oo, oo oo.

  • NIce vid!

cool Dunedin gig by the way, shame venue a bit sterile eh. Wish youda played irrelevant noise tho.

  • Does Taika own a De Lorean.

If he does what happens when he drives it at 141.622km's?

  • it depends on the flux capaciter

  • No Taika has a cool Rover. The DeLorean is a neighbours- cool neighbourhood eh! At 88 MPH you get a speeding ticket!

  • i think when De Loreans are imported into counties like ours, england, aussie, ect that they have to go through a conversion to Km/h so unfortunately the flux capacitor is unable to be modified along with the conversion.

  • This is now my new guilty pleasure. It just makes me so happy!

  • I can't get that chorus out of my head!

  • Keyboard Rock!! Yes!! A little bit ELO, a little bit Pink Floyd, a lot bit retro. I'm hooked.

  • Gold, Video of the Year!

  • Great song, great video, can't wait for the new album!

  • This captures the 80's so perfectly, right down to the suit in the DeLorean. Reminds me of when MTV started I was a little kid and I would watch video's with my older brother.

  • Awesome! Great to see a DeLorean in there too!

  • Nice one guys, are you gonna do a 7"? And come play in London?

  • 7" would be nice...we are looking into it.

and London should be on the cards for next year but who knows, its a little costly

    stay warm!

  • luscious

  • Man, stick a black badge on Warner, and we'll mistake him for a Mormon 'round these parts.

    Dose of sunshine. Cheers.

  • i thought he looked like Max Headroom

  • Tron!

Man, one of my cats sat here watching with me, totally transfixed. She even gently pawed the video at one point. Maybe it was the sparkly drums. ;)

  • cool!!!

  • sassy

  • toto rock

  • oh my god it's toto !!
