Doug is very talented.I remember him and his cousin Steve Hall started jumping on bicyles behind an old apartment building on N.Main St. in Palmer Ma. at about eight years old. He never gave up. His Forest lake jump was awesome!!!!
Doug is the real deal! He did many jumps. I personally witnessed a jump off an old roller skating rink in Palmer Mass in the early 80's. It was insane, they built a ramp off an 80 foot tall roof, and he launched it, and landed in the near by lake. F#ckin balls.
Doug set the record back in 1991 and held the record for 9 long years. The record was broken in 2000 by Jason Rennie. Both guys deserve a hand - but Doug is still the man ;)
Apparently Doug's long-standing ramp-to-ramp world record has been exceeded, by a man from the UK(?): Jason Rennie. Danger held it for some 17 or 18 years. Impresive. Good wishes to, and a "good job" from me, to both guys.

Believe it or not, that is my dad's Cousin. We use to go watch his jumps down in Palmer right over near Route 67.
