I might have bought this if they would have mentioned sin and repentance ...where is I am a sinner I need a saviour , where is REPENT and follow , they just went from one supernatural experience that wasn't paying off to one that DID pay off ( her new book ) ....I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ but I had to repent and acknowledge my sin before that Holy Lamb of God who Paid my sin debt , and repented of my sin to follow Him

What a great testimony, the new age seems even more prevelant now that Oprah has embraced these ideas. You can always spot the lie of the new age and the occult because it always teaches the original sin at it's core that we can become gods. This is exactly how Adam and Eve were decieved in the garden. Satan has nothing new, it is the most ancient of lies just repackaged for modern times. Evolution, aliens, Oprah, The Secret, and all eastern philosiphies teach the lie.
I was involved in a number of new age churches in my earlier years. Many of them are lacking one huge tennant. "The Golden Rule". As I got to know these people they had a lot of problems with other people that from an objective viewpoint was their fault. But they were denail about that. They thought God loved them no matter what. There was no consequence to their actions and no responsibilty. This is their largest pitfall.
They still are blind to how their actions affect others.
