@graverookie Thats the problem though.The army is full of juiced up assholes and a few actual soldiers that want to fight for their country.The army is normally a last resort.The Marines are full of high school dropouts and armchair generals.While I admit they have their special forces, they are not really that elite.The only ones in either that can be considered elite are the Rangers and Force Recon. Navy should be able to rag on the Marines because they used to be in the same military branch.

@ramboarrows Marine training isn't the most intense of all the 4 branches. The Navy SEALS require you to build up an immunity to pneumonia, they do this by exposing you to subzero water for days on end. The Rangers require even more. Marine Boot Camp guarantees you three square meals a day and a warm place to sleep. That's not gonna happen with the SEALs and it definitely doesn't happen in Ranger School. and I'm not "talking shit" I'm speaking the truth. You should also learn to spell Nazi.

Upham? yeah he was in the 29th Infantry Division, although he wasnt an Infantrymen in the movie. the 29th ID, 1st ID, 5th Ranger Battalion, and elements of the 2nd Ranger Battalion landed on Omaha beach.
