To all those with their very strong "opinions" yes we all know what the word of God says about homosexuality but instead of judging, pray that the Lord would renew his mind and cause him to realize he has fallen as we all have @ some point in our own lives and still do daily. He has stated some very different things about his new found lifestyle and his opinion about it been okay is not @ all biblical, however the Lord's hand was on him and he indeed had an anointing. One thing that has killed many of us (Christians) is that we take a man's word probably becos he is famous or gifted or such a leader.

Read that passage very analytical, you will conclude that homosexuality was a punishment from God to those who had made up their mind on depravity (26 -28).
It is a lot different from stealing in that sense though both are sin and will lead anyone to hell.
If we also read verse 32, we'd conclude that anyone who encourages these sins are as well guilty.

@okmich We also have to look at the Bible form a historical stance. This is why we are granted the gift of discernment. The men who put the bible as we know it today used the Codex Siniaticus, Codex Alexandrinus and Codex Vaticanus between the 3rd and 14th centureys all of which are missing pages and authership cannot be compleatly authenticated. Knowing this i still have unwayvering faith in Christ but I will not succumb to midevil customs and laws.

@socalsailor619 Its funny to know some people actually think of themselves as different calibers of sinner then others. We're all made from the same earth which we all will return oneday. One of my prayers is for this "caliber" of christian to humble themselves and pray before God does the humbling. We are all everyday sinners "saved by God's grace" only if we walk with Him in our lives. Christ biblical walk was evolutionary as a man. We all need this same evolution as we walk with Him today.

To all those with their very strong "opinions" yes we all know what the word of God says about homosexuality but instead of judging, pray that the Lord would renew his mind and cause him to realize he has fallen as we all have @ some point in our own lives and still do daily. He has stated some very different things about his new found lifestyle and his opinion about it been okay is not @ all biblical, however the Lord's hand was on him and he indeed had an anointing. He who is without sin let him cast the first stone. We humans will always be human believing we are better than the next person. Because you don't steal doesn't mean you dont gossip or fornicate. How does it justify you from being better than a person who is homo?? Homosexuality is a sin and so are the rest of the other sins we commit daily. God's grace will carry all of us through. Tonex is blessed and I praise God for him. "For all have sin" a person who lies is just as same as a person who is a homosexual and a person who commits adultry. A sin is a sin yet God forgives us all and loves everyone the same.God created different kinds of people,animals,plants,etc. We all don't have to be the same for it is by the grace of God that we live and move our beings. One thing that has killed many of us (Christians) is that we take a man's word probably becos he is famous or gifted or such a leader.
When I get judge, no man will be there to defend me so why not I stick to God's word which will be the only thing that would stand in the face of God's judgement.
Lesson: no matter what your Bishop, pastor, Leader, singer or favourite evangelist says, check God's word for your self and build your faith on that alone. Not man, not dogma.

@BaneOfReligion I understand your position but like I just did to a colleague of mine few minutes ago, I would like you to read Romans 1:20 - 32. Read that passage very analytical, you will conclude that homosexuality was a punishment from God to those who had made up their mind on depravity (26 -28).
It is a lot different from stealing in that sense though both are sin and will lead anyone to hell.
If we also read verse 32, we'd conclude that anyone who encourages these sins are as well guilty.

@queenkeefe Though the bible gives makes God's view over his love for Israel as a people and children of his friend Abraham. He has through Christ extended that love to "all whom the Lord God shall call" Act 2:39.
And a lot of scriptures in the New testament states clearly that the wall differentiating Jew and Gentiles have been broken - Ephesian 2: 10-18. So with God there is not black, white or whatever. There is only those who believe and those who don't. God bless.

But for you and I, we should not accept anything or practise as truth unless we verify it from the bible which we remain the only source of truth. The Christian in Berea did just that in Acts 17:11

@okmich We also have to look at the Bible form a historical stance. This is why we are granted the gift of discernment. The men who put the bible as we know it today used the Codex Siniaticus, Codex Alexandrinus and Codex Vaticanus between the 3rd and 14th centureys all of which are missing pages and authership cannot be compleatly authenticated. Knowing this i still have unwayvering faith in Christ but I will not succumb to midevil customs and laws.

You may educate me (talking about the Codex listings). one thing I know though is that some of the scriptures were from the dead sea scroll (hidden befall the fall of Jerusalem), others like the septuagint (cant remember how now) while the letters where mostly circulated amongst Christians of old (during the dark age and inception of the state church).

Let us not forget, the Creator is in control? Lean not to your OWN understanding... Is it us who tells the creator, this should not be so, or this is not good? We who cast judgement, are just yesterday saved by His GRACE!! Are we to tell GOD what TOOL to use in his design to shape the world? Which one of us can see the future design? I hear you, but the Church and gospel artists telling him that he is in a faze. When you see the different personalities that he becomes, it's scary. He is very sensitive and loves the Lord, but something happened. Let's face it, the Church in the USA is cold as ice. Think about it; there is more love in a gay bar than the best of churches because it is all about mainipulating folk for money .

how true;I also think a big part of the issue is the sad, tragic failure of pple to evaluate & "judge" doctrine. Why does everyone assume that Tonex's belief were traditional christianity to begin with. Now, I could be mistaken & ANYONE pls correct me if I am wrong, but Tonex's theology was never Bible based to begin with. As stated he was raised one-ness (or Jesus only) doctrine which is not based in Bible teachings. One key aspect of this confused teaching is legalism & rejection of grace

the thing about tonex is that he's NOT afraid to use the weird things he can do with his voice.. all singers can make some real unique yet weird sounds but are afraid to use it when performing

@socalsailor619 Its funny to know some people actually think of themselves as different calibers of sinner then others. We're all made from the same earth which we all will return oneday. One of my prayers is for this "caliber" of christian to humble themselves and pray before God does the humbling. We are all everyday sinners "saved by God's grace" only if we walk with Him in our lives. Christ biblical walk was evolutionary as a man. We all need this same evolution as we walk with Him today.
