Its not exactly University level is it?

Aim for clear direct and an unfussy style with three main parts. A punchy openin, main body and crisp conclusion. You should present your argument in a non bias manner and any facts that you produce MUST be backed up with evidence. The key challenge is to develop a sense of your audience and to put your point across in a way that will convince the reader, but not force them to believe you.

Here's a tip from someone who writes for a living: Click on a word and then use Shift F7 for thesaurus (MS Word).

Why didn't you write down your spiel before getting on camera? Your verbal meandering was so irritating I wanted to cry! Your lack of preparation created redundancy in your speaking and unnatural phrasing with odd inflections in your voice.  There is no shame in preparing a presentation beforehand. The information is only one thing to prepare. The actual speaking (presentation) is also important to getting your message across.
