I can't even do that anymore, from now on when I turn my wii on, It does this black screen with really fast skipping and scrolling text, then goes into one of the cIOS installation things, I have to exit it after choosing 36rev and restart to the wiimenu. My wii's really fucked up and nothing in forums or what anyone is telling me helps at all. I tried looking into downgrading and that's what gave me this startup error crap.

hey im on menu 4.0u do i have to upgrade to menu 4.1 or 4.2 to get cios rev14 or rev15 please help. i cant seem to get it on my wii everytime i try it says error mount -1 please help thanks.
!!!!!!! Are you suppose to Hit "A" when you have selected IOS249?!?!?! I accidentally hit "A" and unpacked my my cIOS rev14 with IOS36 selected?!?!?! and it unpacked and did the stuff already did i do it incorrectly?????!!!
that is a custom menu theme. and it requires you to have softmii but thats not softmii itself. but dont use one unless you have bootmii(with NAND backup) or preloader because there is a good chance you will get bricked if you make the tiniest mistake.
whenever i click ios249 it just freezes and the music still plays!!!!!!!!!HELPP

I got error -1.
My current cIOS is cIOS36 rev 13.23. Wiiflow and USB ISO loader, and Coverfloader all begin loading, but then return me to previous screens.
What do I do? how can I install a cIOS that can run at least one of these apps?/WAD's?

what firmware are you runing? how did you get your wii with that theme? what program did you use? is that waht they call softmii?
