I'll take this version over H.S.B.'s version. H.S.B.'s version's good, but the shouting vocals don't fit. Swano nailed it on this song, which came out in 1994 when some of the more diverse Death Metal bands were starting to get the attention of major labels. It would've been nice to see Edge Of Sanity get some wide recognition through a good label. With all due respect to Heaven Shall Burn, which is a truely brilliant band, I prefer Edge of Sanity. Making a good 4 min long song isnt as easy as it sounds, but making a 40 min long, wicked masterpiece is way more than challenging and tricky!
Just to let you guys know, Eternal Tears of Sorrow also did a cover of this song on their 2003 album "Chaotic Beauty". It's better than HSB's cover imo. At least they didn't skip out on the solo lol!

Heaven Shall Burn and Edge of Sanity are very different bands, dude. Does Heaven Shall Burn write 40 minute concept albums? So they could kick Edge of Sanity's ass at something Edge of Sanity doesn't even do, or show an interest in doing....what does that prove? Just to let you guys know, Eternal Tears of Sorrow also did a cover of this song on their 2003 album "Chaotic Beauty". It's better than HSB's cover imo. At least they didn't skip out on the solo lol!

Heaven Shall Burn and Edge of Sanity are very different bands, dude. Does Heaven Shall Burn write 40 minute concept albums? So they could kick Edge of Sanity's ass at something Edge of Sanity doesn't even do, or show an interest in doing....what does that prove? All it proves is they are two different types of bands, and that you judge one by the other's standards.

I heard the whole songs from HSB (yes I dint know really the songs, I go becouse of AILD xD), THEN the last song of HSB was this and it was the best, sadly it was a cover XD!
