@orglarovin I agree with you. My interpretation of the Gnossienne #3 is rather weak. However, it was only intended to be a transcription experiment with a new instrument - the Haken continuum - and not "l'interprétation définitive" of the piece. I too am a big fan of Pascal Rogé. As for Satie's wonderful comments, I believe he intended many of them to be funny (which they definitely are) and I think we make a mistake when we take them too seriously and too literally.
@copperleaves :) haha yes you're probably right... mr Satie is probably giggeling in his heaven watching pianists interpretation ardour. I guess I am happily fooled reading in all thet meaning into those words :)
BTW, I envy you. I've played on a haaken once... and its like stroking music from a woman's smooth thigh. Fantastic.
You are of course an avid musician - but here's som critique anyways...
It sounds as you are just reading the notation... And Satie can not be played on notation only.
I recon Saties more etheric piano pieces to be some of the hardest to *interpret* of all classic piano music (xcluding modern musique concrete stuff :)). These pieces can't be played without trying to absorb into Saties elusive comments unnderneath the notation:
You need to meet Jordan Rudess and see him with his continum.

Pascal Rogé is one of the few who succeeds in transcending into that state needed...
