Inside MMA Preview - WILL SHAQUILLE O'NEAL FIGHT IN THE UFC?
Wtfk was Titto thinking bn on his knees .lame he should look at his performance instead of bn proud of his supposet saving of the card.he got a beatdown
Is this serious Shaq fighting man he SUCKS, lets get real here ok he retired from the NBA which means hes fuckin stiff as a tree, he is 7ft 1in tall and about 320 lbs so he couldnt make the proper weight and I remember i saw a match between him and Mosley on TV man in my opinion he beat his ass, and I also seen a video when he tried to swing at Miller in a game.....pffft WOW he swung like a damn 5 yr old throwing a kid fit...so he WOULD NOT make it in MMA,he would be antoher Sapp probably worse!
@Halfredneck001 LOL at you saying tito didn't? If Lyoto wouldn't sign with Rashad, then no one would have stepped up. Akiyama and Belfort headlining a card, let alone a PPV number card. I hate tito as much as the next guy, but he saved this card.
@Dimsonny Dude, all I'm saying is that this card was riddled with replacements and injuries. No one person could have saved it. It went from being very interesting to being semi-relevant. Rashad would have been awarded a title shot if he had beaten Davis regardless.
@undisputedgreatest Actually it would be, Lesnar was Ranked the #1 Heavyweight in the Big Ten Conference (2000) with a four year record of 106-5 in division one college wrestling. His only two loses are to UFC champion caliber fighters, one which he revenged. There is a weight limit which means Shaq would have to cut 60 pounds if he wanted to compete in UFC. He would fight Hong-man Choi in Dream overseas in Japan if he was serious about fighting in MMA, Shaq has zero combative accomplishments.
@undisputedgreatest I think i literally stopped reading after I saw Lesnars name before I started going off on my stoned rant this morning. LOL sorry!
@Immortalsyn83 It's o.k.! It happens! And, yes, you are correct. Lesnar gets too much shit. I don't like him personally (mostly because of him as a person,) but he has balls, and accomplished so much for being so new. No one can take that away from him.
@Immortalsyn83 How can Brock have a four year record in D1 wrestling when he was only in D1 for two years? Next time you're check out his Wikipedia, try to read a litte closer.
@greatestxgift That's an overall record from 4 years of college, ether way he was two-time Big Ten Conference Champion, and the 2000 NCAA heavyweight champion. He had a very impressive 4 year run & proved he was the best of his time.
@Immortalsyn83 Brock was a very good collegiate wrestler but he wasn't the best of his time and anyone who actually followed the sport is aware of that. Stephen Neal (2 time NCAA HW champ, the first 4 time Pac 10 HW champ, Dan Hodge award winner and much more) was undoubtedly the best HW at that time and he proved that beating Brock in the 1999 championship match. The point is that you were perpetuating misinformation about his record being from four years in D1 when it clearly wasn't.
@greatestxgift One of Lesnars 5 losses in four years, he left wrestling being the 2000 NCAA heavyweight champion so he was the best of his time. Losing a match to a bad ass like Steven Neals in his Junior year doesn't mean shit. Neal lost 10 matches, twice as many as Lesnar. If you keep fighting in any combative sport you will occasionally lose know matter who you are. Especially when you have as many matches in concession as wrestling. You are correct though it was 2 years, 106-5 is still great
@Immortalsyn83 Stephen Neal lost 10 match throughout his whole career because he actually wrestled in D1 for four years instead of slumming it in Junior college for his first two years. Neal not only won his second NCAA championship in 1999 but also won the U.S. Freestyle Championship, the Pan-American Games title, the World Championship, and was awarded with the FILA outstanding wrestler award. He was the best wrestler of that time BY A LONG SHOT and there's no questioning that.
@greatestxgift Lesnar had a record of 26-1, his only loss he defeated in the finals of the tournament becoming the 2000 NCAA HW Champ. Steve Neal would have to cut a good 40 pounds to fight in UFC or SF but with enough training he could probably break some skulls. That is one of the great things about MMA, its very unpredictable bout to bout because its a full body combat sport. Big athletes that train hard can be amazing fighters in MMA because they can use their whole body as a weapon.
@Immortalsyn83 That is completely irrelevant and had nothing to do with what I saying at all. I never mentioned MMA or anything regarding it. The point is that you made two completely ignorant statements about Brock wrestling D1 for 4 years and wrongly stating that he was the best of his time when he clearly wasn't.
@greatestxgift My previous statement before the last I already said you where correct it was for 2 years. However being the 2000 champion as he was when he left the sport, he did prove he was the best wrestler in 2000 since he avenged his only loss in D1 his senior year. They where both the best of their time & its not like Neal dominated the match in 1999, it was a very close match for a junior vs senior. Both went on to be very successful athletes.
@Immortalsyn83 You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I think you've made it painfully clear that you get your info from Wikipedia instead of actualy following the sport and knowing what actually happened. Please stop foolishly commenting on something you're clueless of.
@greatestxgift Wiki is a great recourse & you really only corrected me on one thing. I also get much of my info from my best friend that went to Cal State Bakersfield for wrestling & was able to get instruction from him. I knew of Neals accomplishments before Lesnar was even in the UFC & still doing entertainment wrestling. Doesn't change the fact they both went on to accomplish great things or they both quit wrestling at the top of their game senior year. Lesnar was 2nd place in 1999 no slouch.
@Immortalsyn83 You're not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you? You keep babbling on about completely irrelevant nonsense. I never said anything about Lesnar being a bad wrestler as I specifically said he was a very good wrestler which he was but he was NOWHERE near as accomplished as Stephen Neal and that's an undeniable, inarguable FACT. Stephen Neal was the best of that time and there is no debate regarding that.
@greatestxgift Neal's time ended in college before Lesnar's time ended, there is no debating that. Neal was the best of his time, however his time ended in 1999 with the runner up to his crown being Lesnar in a very close bout. Neal is a more accomplished grappler between the two however Brock is a more accomplished combative sports athlete. They both where the best of their senior year & left champions which is also undeniable.
@Immortalsyn83 Neal is also a much more accomplished football player than Brock but once again, what does that have to do with anything? Are you suffering from ADD?
@greatestxgift Are you suffering from some sort of post traumatic stress disorder? They where both the best of their time is all I said. They ended college at separate times so they where both indeed the best of their time!
