I am a hardcore Metallica fan but I am smart enough to know a good drummer when I see one. Lars is okay but he not as musically talented as the rest of the band.

@TheMafati Actually the drummer from Mushugah gave him lessons in Death Magnetic in my opinion he is better now then he was in the 80's and 90's. Is he great? no? Is he good? not really. Does he get the job done for Metallica as a drummer sure as hell he does! I will never put Lars on a top 10 list of best drummers or probably not even in the top 100 but he is not the musical reason for Metallica's success as a band that is the other 4 in the band (Cliff will always be apart of the band!)
