Everything Mamet has done is Oscar quality (well, maybe not Hannibal) but when you've done films like Spartan, Heist, House of Games, Homicide, Glengarry Glen Ross, etc.
I think he deserves huge kudos! Plus, he was also co-creator & writer on CBS's cancelled show "The Unit"
This is so sadly true for so many people. We do share the worlds with some utter rubbish posing as human(kind?). I think not.

Loved this movie, though I think the end was a little more profound with respect to human nature than this scene.

agreed. I put this in my fave top 10 everytime. i believe quality gets an audience one way or another and I believe this shall get its due soon.
