  • It's a nice novelty, but it does appear to be an exact rip-off of the Billy Lane design! I don't know if I would trust my life to this type of wheel hub design just yet... seems to me the more bearings you have inside the wheel the more chances you have for a bearing failure. I know the more bearings you have in a race the smoother they are due to they spread the load across the surface of many bearings. All it would take is to have just one bearing to fail and the whole assembly is FUBAR!

  • Billy lane rip off

  • I don't see a brake on that wheel. Is there one and I just can't see it, or can you not put one on it.

  • not really hubless just hollow. its a big hollow hub, with bearings on one side. looks sweet....

  • I'd be curious to see just how much torque a wheel like this can take before wobbling.

  • nice.....

  • Hubless tractor

  • Unless this wheel is made of a very hard metal; it will be out of round in no time causing vibration like hell if it's not already doing it. nice concept for a medical c t scan machine

  • @carlosjimz meh. im sure they designed it strong enough not to fold in on itself under normal conditions....

  • Ok, I get the novelty factor, but what's the advantage. I wonder how it holds up with grime, dirt and potholes, as well as wear and tear in general.

  • i like how it says new technology.......it's been around since the 80's!

  • very cool bro,ride safe

  • oooooooooh yeeeeeaaaaah brother.

  • hot, but maybe not the best on classic custom, rather would like to see it on some stealth chopper

  • Easy 2 Clean !

  • frank sbarro is d first person who invented this hubless design, billy lane choppers inc and mark brown amen motorcycle just reinvented d hubless design with their own style bro.thats the fact n truth about hubless.another 1 in thailand.ive seen their design and cool too.

  • @chopperasta Reinvented is not the right word, It is better to say that they adapted Franco Sbarro's design (the 1st orbital wheel). They probably have to pay a fee to the patent holder society (Mottas Vistaholding) for the use of the invention.

  • everybody thinks that Billy Lane did this. It was developed by a guy in the early 80s called Sbarro

  • nice, but i can actually imagine the hub collapsing

  • Ok now do the front and Ill be happy. Billy Lane did this a long time ago my friend.

  • Amazing technology - can't wait to see it at the dealerships!

  • Very Cool! Good work!

  • Wow, that looks awesome, when can we get one?
