there have been complaints about the severe erotion on the summit of moel ysmytho.the council did inform the riding school in waenfawr.horses do not cause erotion on hard ground only soft peaty ground.the only other erosion ive seen is on the route down to llyn ffynnhonau.motorcyclists and 4x4s create more of a problem realy.id rather see a horse than a motorcycle.i enjoyed your video,it isnt often you get a video of local riders.brought with horses on nannau estate dolgellau.
@1946gareth. Yes, I'm well aware that horse riders are discriminated against when it comes to access on public land, particularly since countless legitimate bridleways have been closed off by landowners and are no longer accessible. I’m aware of the difference between CRoW land, and CROWN land, we were riding on the latter. I think you'll find none of the tracks we rode on are marked on Ordanace Survey as Footpaths.
@SuperR3volver a horse can live 30 maybe 40 years if they are in a good shape and eat the right food and stuff like that! But I think that most of the horses live for about 19-20 years.
@Equestar123, Hi don't worry she always has a good set of shoes. The terrain looks worse than it is and Colleen is very sure footed. Believe me, we've been together ever since she was as a foal 19 years ago, I'd never put her in harms way.
May we have more, please? Great video!
