I find that the most-liked people are very honest and they exhibit a minimum of affectations. If you are like that, people WILL like you. But they may not like being AROUND you. ;-) Big difference. By the way-- "You" are just a mental construct anyway. Chances are, you will exhibit the OPPOSITE qualities tomorrow. There are no permanent traits so just forgive yourself when you act like a dick. You'll know when that occurs. ;-)

I've been enjoying her tapes so far, but this one not so much. It sounds like my folks just saying, don't worry about it. One thing is to listen to your intuition. Eventually, if not right away, it will tell you what's going on. One thing I found out was that if you don't like someone or are judgmental, they usually pick up on it as the average personal is fairly intuitive. You'd best deal with your negative thoughts as you might as well be saying them out loud. Hope that helps someone a little.

I can't say I really understand those that feel they must be liked by everyone. I think the only time you really need to stop and reflect why people don't like you is if most people don't seem to like you. Maybe you need to stop being an ass. I don't even think it is possible to be liked by everyone. The very qualities you have that might be the reason one likes you can be the exact same qualities that put others off.
