oh my goodness. how can people be so dumb? I live in this town. and the horses are their for the tourist that come to see our town. the horses are in down town saratoga springs and the main bars on that street or on Carlion street. and the peoplce partrol up that street all the time when the bars are open. the main party nights are thursday thrue saturday nights for thoes bars. their are also cabs that drive along that street on thoes nights. and the police station is a few blocks over.

The horse installations are what is known as Public Art. Something you can enjoy as you stroll the streets. unfortunately, this small town has more bars than people, (more opening all the time) so you cannot have both. Revenue from the bars trumps art for the public. So maybe they should just have drunks (instead) of horses outside of the area businesses.

Why do they keep replacing the horses in the same spot they were wrecked? STUPID SARATOGA!!! Hello!The town is putting pretty valueable horses on the public streets, of course, vandals and burglars would be interested in them. If I was the mayor of Saratoga Springs, I would never put the horses in the streets anymore. They belong in a Saratoga Raceway musuem locked in glass cages.
