This song reminds me so much of the relationship that me and my dad have. He has never been apart of my life, nor has he ever tried...he just recently became a part for the first time in 24 years last winter. I love this song so much that whenever I hear it I cry, cry, cry.....

@mrmelros i hear ya on that one...im 22 now, and i have not seen my father since i was 3yrs old, and although we may never have heard that from our fathers, we can make sure that we say that to our own sons one day if that opportunity arrises!

Every time I hear this song it makes me think of my grandfather who passed on last December, even though it is a song for a father and son.

I have a 15 and a half month old son. We both wear glasses (bad eyes on both sides of the family). I was curly blond as a little boy and so is he. He is not only my world, but my universe. He reminds me of what it is like to be a child, which is something I feel everyone should always remember, but sadly many lose touch with their roots.
This music video touched the core of my being and I balled my eyes out watching it because it reminds me of just how special my little boy is to me.
