Yea, I noticed all the different settings between the two. But how did he actually do it? Camera tricks were definitely involved, but the question is still, HOW?! He wasn't moving that much and the background still looked pretty much the angle as the the beginning. I don't understand. He's still awesome to me.

If you look you can see white stuff like a lot of bird poop on the sewer thing he crawled out of and then the camera goes away out of view while some one puts down the fake mat and then he goes and rolls it up.
You can tell its fake and the real sewer hole is behind the mat. When he first gets out there is white stuff at the top of the sewer thing, then when he goes back and rolls it up, you can see the white stuff is below the new sewer matt
Okay firstly , the real hole has scratches near it on the ground when he scratched the lid on there and if u look at the second " hole" it shows no scratch marks !
This is quite clear, but what about cutting people in half, elivating, walking on watter, escaping the bottom of the ocean handcuffed and all that stuff? :P
This is so fake! If you watch closely @ .26 there is a mark on the pavement that is slightly higher and to the right of the manhole when he comes back from taking a couple steps and begins to peel it off that same mark is now lower then the sticker proving that this is not real.. Nice catch. There is also another one where he hesitate a manhole cover. I was looking for that one. If you find of check it out you can hear the manhole being moved as he does his walk around. Thanks for posting this one
just look at the triangle mark behind him at 0:07 and compare it with the mark at 0:43 its not the same, which means that the location of the hole is not the same.. just my observation
If you look at 0:26 look at the distance from the hole to the sidewalk then look at 0:53 it got closer and if you notice the camra man takes like 6 steps fallowing criss then takes like 4 to back up leaving space for the fake manhole to be put in place and the real one to be out of site. =]

Placement of the drain gives this away. Original hole is more to the right..it's covered with a decal of the asphalt while someone lays a decal of the drain to the left of the original drain while the camera focuses on Criss to distract your attention.

the top of the sewer plate is just a decal thats basically not completely on so its easy for him to roll it up. the real sewer plate is painted the exact color of the road and the outlines for the hole is also filled in so you dont see those

when he comes out of it, it was like 2 meters, and then it reduced to like 1;5 meters.

That is really easy to do. He comes out, puts the lid on. When he backs up, somebody else goes and put a foil on the ground which looks like the ground and one which looks like the lid. Easy!
notice when he climbs out of the hole, the distance from the light to the hole and after he walks away the distance from the light to the hole is nearer.
he walked back onto the lighter part of the pavement, when he did this the crew placed that thing down and he came forward.. but not as far forward as the actualy thing is, notice at 0:24 thur is a slight darker mark to the right of the drain now at 0:44 the darker mark is all around the right side... not the same aye :)

@R3APER24 there are many videos of him that are edited. Him saying that they are not, makes him a fraud. The guy is a con artist getting rich off of suckers. I also think he said he will give someone a million or whatever amount to prove that he uses no camera tricks or wires, etc.someone should cash in on that. but that is probably bullshit too.

lol you can see the orientation of the manhole cover changes from almost a diagonal from bottom left to top right where the holes ridges on the outside of the ring are to almost flat across, and the scrapes are gones
Obviously it's fake because it's all illusion. But his tricks are so over the top that you can tell that they are fake or you can come up with the explanation fairly easy. It's better when you see an illusion and you can't come up with an explanation. I think that's what people mean when they say that he's a fake.

look at it in the beginning, it has a dent in the front of it and only two dark parts in the front, after they get the camera off it the dent is gone and theres only one dark part
THERES TWO MAN HOLE LIDS! Look at the whole video and pay attention to where hes walking, the one he just closed it at his right, they had that fake one put on the floor away from the real one. When he closes the 1st lid, pay attention to where he walks very carefully and youll see what i mean
they do change places he goes up more ahead cuz watch that grey pavement in the back of him as he closet the real sewer top he and he moves around u can tell hes closer to the grey pavement and the camera man stick up ahead and zooms in so u guys wont see him walkin up more ahead with criss so they can put the fake one on the floor so thats when criss is ready and the camera man zooms out i can really tell this one is fake
When criss walked away the camera guy followed while someone layed down that mat about a foot infront of the real hole and put his gloves back on top of the fake hole then the camera man aimed the camera back down without moving back to his original spot , it's that simple

That is really easy to do. He comes out, puts the lid on. When he backs up, somebody else goes and put a foil on the ground which looks like the ground and one which looks like the lid. Easy!

he walked back onto the lighter part of the pavement, when he did this the crew placed that thing down and he came forward.. but not as far forward as the actualy thing is, notice at 0:24 thur is a slight darker mark to the right of the drain now at 0:44 the darker mark is all around the right side... not the same aye :)

I also think he said he will give someone a million or whatever amount to prove that he uses no camera tricks or wires, etc.someone should cash in on that. but that is probably bullshit too.

People get upset cause it's fake, but like a few others pointed out, of course it is. The illusion is the fun part trying to figure out how he did it. I love the guy but of course it's fake, If it was actually real I'd be freaked out. A dude that levitates, reads minds, and make crazy objects appear, that's on some x-men shit.

lol you can see the orientation of the manhole cover changes from almost a diagonal from bottom left to top right where the holes ridges on the outside of the ring are to almost flat across, and the scrapes are gones

Obviously it's fake because it's all illusion. But his tricks are so over the top that you can tell that they are fake or you can come up with the explanation fairly easy. It's better when you see an illusion and you can't come up with an explanation. I think that's what people mean when they say that he's a fake.

@soccerkid980 yeah we get it that magic isn't real. But that's not most people's problem with Criss Angel. It's that he goes to so much trouble to make everything seem natural and unplanned when it's all so badly staged and set up that every trick no matter how good just seems corny and lame. At least Blaine travels and does his street magic outside his own city. Everything Angel does is in Vegas. Everyone is a ringer and bad actors at that.

they do change places he goes up more ahead cuz watch that grey pavement in the back of him as he closet the real sewer top he and he moves around u can tell hes closer to the grey pavement and the camera man stick up ahead and zooms in so u guys wont see him walkin up more ahead with criss so they can put the fake one on the floor so thats when criss is ready and the camera man zooms out i can really tell this one is fake

When criss walked away the camera guy followed while someone layed down that mat about a foot infront of the real hole and put his gloves back on top of the fake hole then the camera man aimed the camera back down without moving back to his original spot , it's that simple
