  • Screaming sounds shit compared to his voice now...all the singers that scream don't have a long career as a good vocalist, thats why he sings, thats why that guy from avenged sevenfold sings more on newer stuff, coz he fucked his vocals from screaming. Same with alexi laiho from COB, altho he still is rough but alot better than he used to be.

  • lol...I don't need backing to know that screaming damages your vocals possibly permanently even if your trained. Its a pretty well known fact. My singing teacher says the same and I'm sure most other teachers would agree. Matt even said himself in an interview that the screams damaged his voice. As for me saying that his singing is better than his screams...well thats just my opinion and I'm guna stick to that. Dick.

  • Screaming doesnt harm you in any way if you know how to do it right. Watch some fucking zen of screaming. my friend asked in the fanclub from matt about the screaming, he answered that it was just because he didnt want to scream anymore and because they wanted to be "more like metallica".

  • And the type of singing he does nowdays damages his voice a fucking lot more than screaming ever did. He takes some medicine for his throat nowdays. You can hear from his voice that the distortion isnt natural and that it hurts his throat. Anyway I miss matts scream imo it was the best ever, the new singing sucks monkey balls...

  • Old trivium rocked, but so did old metallica. I'm happy with the metallica shift as long as they stick to the old metallica style. The screaming did rock....but then again matt can pull of mad harmony/melodic singing aswel....cause u know....he is the best ever :P

    And i have 2 agree with Tommclane on their remarkable musical talent....what can i say....i <3 thrash

  • lol I didnt say I hated screaming. I prefer singing...and nowhere did I say I was a true Trivium fan lol. I don't have to be obsessed with them to watch a video...Which ever way he sings I'm not bothered...I like them instrumentally.

  • not sure, i just recorded it on my handycam but i guess if you really want it i could sell a DVD copy. There performance is only about 30 min or so and all the vids i've posted. The difference is i guess that i have the originals so they are DVD quality.

  • The sound goes in and out cause there's a massive canvas over the speakers on the stage and the wind blows it in and out, hence the shifting sound. It doesn't sound like that in the pit.
