This was an early group game, Georgia finished bottom with 3 points and Ireland finished second 4 points ahead of Bulgaria. Therefore the final standings in that group would not have been affected. Compare that with a deliberate hand ball in a second leg World Cup pay off, not quite the same are they.
So, in setting out to show the Ireland team to be as big as cheaters as Henry, this is the best you could come up with. A debatable refereeing decision. Some more searching needed I think.

There was nothing in that video that would give a ref good cause for penalizing for handball. It *might* have been a case of ball-to-hand, but you can't even be sure of that from the footage. What you can be sure of, though, is that there was no shout for handball from the crowd, no shout for handball from any of the three defenders who were standing right there, and no whistle for handball from the ref, who had a clear view of Keane. To say that he's a hypocrite for this is fucking retarded.

This was an early group game, Georgia finished bottom with 3 points and Ireland finished second 4 points ahead of Bulgaria. Therefore the final standings in that group would not have been affected. Compare that with a deliberate hand ball in a second leg World Cup pay off, not quite the same are they.
So, in setting out to show the Ireland team to be as big as cheaters as Henry, this is the best you could come up with. A debatable refereeing decision. Some more searching needed I think.

No one denies Henry handled against Ireland, and no one should deny Keane didn't handle. France are not cheats, nor is Henry. This could have happened in any game. But this was a massive game with huge importance. Whatever happens in SA, the French team will be tainted. A replay would have solved all this. Henry wanted as well and as far as I've herad, the FFF as weel, but Domenech didn't want to.

The fact that the whole world watched Henry cheating is irrelevant otherwise that would mean that cheating is fine as long as you don't get caught.

There was nothing in that video that would give a ref good cause for penalizing for handball. It *might* have been a case of ball-to-hand, but you can't even be sure of that from the footage. What you can be sure of, though, is that there was no shout for handball from the crowd, no shout for handball from any of the three defenders who were standing right there, and no whistle for handball from the ref, who had a clear view of Keane. To say that he's a hypocrite for this is fucking retarded.
