Creepy red suit with a flower. Stupid hairstyle and sunglasses. A (good) lame romantic song combined with a kind of lame set. How the hell does him make all that look like the collest things in the world? Gotta give it to El Patton!
God what an amazing F'n band.. the whole lot of them. I like how MIke breaks up his voice at the beginning then opens it all the way up in the last verse.

A genius never touches drugs? Huh. I guess Jim Morrison, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix, and scores of other massively influential artists were a bunch of non-geniuses. (Mike Patton is the shit, BTW)
@drfaith I agree, FNM are my fave band and the reason for that is each member are all equally brilliant. My comment was a joke because Patton is definitely the comedian of the band.
This performance at download made my entire year. Even those in the crowd who didn't really know them or even knew what the fuss was about or were too young to appreciate them in their hayday, recognised they were experiencing something special that evening.
@voiceofreason79 I was 12/13 (My birthday was on the Saturday) at the time and I thought it was amazing and knew most of the songs. Just saying...hahaha
@voiceofreason79 I had the oppisite experience in Brooklyn New York last year ..the whole crowd was there for them...when they hit the stage,,it was such a great vibe....everyone was signing jumoin around...exremely hot day day tho...

I BELIEVE THEY ARE JOKING, REUNITED AS IN MIKE PATTON AND FAITH NO MORE,... GET A CLUE TO SOME OF YOU IGNORANT FOOLS..... IF YOU KNOW MIKE YOU KNOW HOW HE THINKS AND HIS HUMOR...
MIKE PATTON IS DRUG FREE ALL GENIUS... YES A GENIUS WOULD NEVER TOUCH DRUGS!!!
@ChristyLove816 - sooooo true, you almost had it right. ummmmmm, except for the "drugs" comment. you're saying Mike or FnM never touched drugs? you do realize what the whole abum "The Real THing" (or most of it) is about drugs right? he nails a trip experience right down to a tee, soooooo....just some food for thought, hun.
@Drew978 Umm, 'the real thing's' about masturbation and how sex doesn't compare to it, hence "the real thing". It's a common theme in their music. 'Epic' is about trying to suck your own dick. "You want it all but you can't have it, it's in your face but you can't grab it!" he sings squeamishly. "What is it?"
let's see...they have an album named Angel Dust, multiple songs about drugs...and the sheer fact that mike patton has admitted to using pot, coke and pretty much anything else he could get his hands on save for heroin. no, i think he's TOTALLY drug free as much as i am god-fearing (i'm an atheist btw) and your opinion being valid.
with that said, i will agree with Mr Patton being a creative genius. but drug-free? yeah...right. ok
@twistedviewlabs Bordin's a pothead. Roddy had a smack problem at one time. I remember Mike saying several times that he tried pot and didn't like it. Trevor Dunn has said he's done acid before. I've always assumed Mike's dislike of pot came from his associating it with all the hippies in Humboldt County. I don't remember him saying anything about coke? Remember where you read it? BTW, I'm a FNM-loving atheist pothead whose tried everything but meth and angel dust.
@ChristyLove816 I'm pretty sure 99% of people over 20 have atleast smoked weed or drank alcohol in their lives. Especially from 50's-90's. Nowadays people are more about MDMA.
I personally don't see the problem with drugs. Patton drinks all time on stage (Even in this show he pulls out the whisky rather often) and as long as it doesn't ruin the show (Like GnR ruined their shows with drug abuse and generally being obnoxious idiots) there's no problem.
@ChristyLove816 No, he didn't take drugs. Instead he would eat raw meat and electrocute himself before gigs... I'm not necessarily advocating either. I'm just trying to say whatever floats your boat.
@ChristyLove816 I also believe special olympica atheles are equal to unretarded humans aka if this needs to be said there are more retards than normal humans on this planet
I BELIEVE THEY ARE JOKING, REUNITED AS IN MIKE PATTON AND FAITH NO MORE,... GET A CLUE TO SOME OF YOU IGNORANT FOOLS..... IF YOU KNOW MIKE YOU KNOW HOW HE THINKS AND HIS HUMOR...
To all you Utah Utes fans and Carolina Panthers fans (like myself): This hit by Peaches and Herb was #1 in the USA when Steve Smith came into the world (May 12, 1979).
I have no problem with the direction, at all, Stripsearch is a great mid 90's song. Without Martin they are not (how us oldheads called them) FNM. I will always enjoy FNM but without Jim they are not what we love back before you were born, unless you are part of the NEW Faith No More.
@mmakowski314 You've completely missed the point, also if you replied to my comments I would have been able to reply quickly. They weren't a Thrash band, they have never been one at all, they may have INCORPORATED elements of the genre, however by definition they are not. My point: Jim Martian was not the lead writer in the band, or the one that gave their songs what they were. Roddy and Bill assumed both those roles. The irony is, Jim Martian is/was my favourite member, I'm highlighting the...
@mmakowski314 ignorance and narrow mindedness in your statement, I'm not insulting you I'm pointing out a fact, the fact they aren't Thrash, that may have been there, and Jim Martian may have been primarily influenced by it, but that doesn't mean the two are a result of one another, Billy was also heavily influenced, look at his endeavours after the band. Also, look at tracks from KFAD. PERSONAL OPINION.
@mmakowski314 Oh I've also noted you're comment regarding Chi Cheng and Deftones, I would like to point out that you're comment is also incorrect there, a large majority of the album was written before Chi Cheng's unfortunate accident, as can be seen in the studio diaries of Eros. Before slagging of bands, and personal opinions, research would be advised.
@mmakowski314 Oh my lord, I've just read this comment by yourself ""CHI CHENG is the DEFTONES!!"" Ok noting your ignorance I cannot even begin to open your ignorant eyes, good day sire.

@mmakowski314 Well firstly sire, Jim Martin wasn't a original member, Roddy and Bill were, so if anything it was more Faith No More (See what I did there) before Jim Martin was in it, don't get me wrong I love the band, but firstly there not Trash, at all, they never have been, apart from arguably Surprise! You're Dead. When Martin first joined they were an Alternative Rock band which had more in common with Red Hot Chilli Peppers than Metallica (Introduce Yourself, We Care A lot). Also...
@mmakowski314 Bands evolve, if you have a problem with the direction they've gone in that is your problem, don't listen to them, it's not a hardship. Of course, you're allowed your own opinion in the pluralist democratic world we live in, however, Faith No More had numerous line up changes before Jim, in fact more than after his departure. This is a reunited 'Album Of The Year' lineup. I still see Roddy and Bill, so I still see FNM reunited! It's kind of like saying Metallica, aren't Metallica..
I was amongst this mob, fitting song I went to hook up with my old forces buddys, not seen each other for years and years.

I haven't see Faith No More for a while, what the hell has happened to Mike Patton (walking stick)?
Their fascination with Soul Music continues for yet another excellent cover.

@Upsilon235 It was a joke, because they hadn't been together for a decade. Watch other videos, definitely does not need a stick. lol
