the enemy using tractor actually turned me on. I used to be captured purposely by it. I thought it was somewhat attractive. I was only 5 years old when I found myself enjoying being captured. anyone else turned on by it?

This reminds me of my epic journey the land of the evil clitoris. It was a dangerous adventure indeed, but I made it. I slaughtered countless numbers of enemies, and just barely forced my way into the uterus, Clitoris's large fortress. It was nowhere near as large as the gate to the fortress. I finally forced my way into the ovary, which was actually a trap disguised as a McDonald's. Once I was free, I was a being with the same skin as the beholder of the Clitoris

On stages 1 -4 I would not even start firing at them until they had finished the aliens had finished muster but on the machine I have you can't do that otherwise you end up getting absolutely swamped when they have completed muster and then go into flight attack ...

I bought an old Galaga upright arcade machine cos I loved playing Galaga as a kid - but for some reason the game on the machine I have is far harder than I ever rememeber it. I used to be able to get to stage 25 without too much effort and then from stage 25 onwards it was really hard work. But on the machine I have bought it is a struggle to get to stage 18 - although you start off with 5 - yes 5 ships - the aliens start bombing you and kamakazing into you from stage 1 !

@booth2710 if you look inside the machine there are dip swiches on the motherboard that change the gameplay. I have the cocktail version, if you hunt around the net you can find the correct settings for a slower game. I am guessing the previous owner of your machine was a arcade who like a quick turnover of players. its sortable mate

No this not an old game, your just a young kid. I remember playing pong at a pizza parlor in the early 70s. The next game i played was a 3D tank game around the same time. The graphics were like the movie Tron. Before that it was pinball machines. Galaga and Tempest are amoung my favorites. Cetapede was similar to Galaga.

This was my game back in the day. I used to flip the machine paying it past 999,992 or whatever and the machine would reset itself back to zero and i would start all over again. Timeless game. The graphics are primitive by today's standards of course but the game itself is still great. I would love to find it somewhere.

or if you got an n64 the games like 5$ for the whole namko museum like pac man mrs pacman dig something etc.. the n64 itself now adays is like 15-20$

This will only work on Stages 1&2 ONLY. when the stage starts do as you would normaly except for the LAST set of BLUE&YELLOW bee's DO NOT SHOOT THEM. now shoot everything like you would except for the last 2 bees on the far left DO NOT SHOOT THEM.When its only these 2 that are left,let them keep comming down and do their thing just keep dodgeing them it may take abot 20-30 min then they will stop shooting.when you think they are done, shoot them.Rest of the game they will not shoot at any stage.

i did that and got to stage 0. stage 0 is after stage 262. they run out of ships and youre there shooting at nothing. you would have to unplug the arcade game, or you will loose your quater.

i know the trick to a double ship:first,dont kill any big ships at the top.then,wait until 1 of them comes down and opens a portal, then go in the portal. it will say FIGHTER CAPTURED then when the one with your ship on it comes down again shoot the ship untill it drops your ship then u will have 2!
