@HalaJamal Hi Hala! Thank you! Mohsen just follows very typically Arabic style tabla solo format- so many of the riffs sound familiar, although each tabla player puts his own spin on it. I've got at least two different solos on CD that start out very similar (Nagua's tabla (from a Jalilah CD and Issam's Tribal tabla).
Mohsen plays often in "threes", not "fours," which is more modern ... it was all improv on both of our parts.
